Hand-carved Alexa Kids Manhattan City Roadway Blue Wool Rug (5' x 8')

We bought this rug for my then 2-year-old son's room in our new house. When he saw it, he was beyond excited. He proceeded to run around the road over and over again for about 15 minutes straight. The rug is bright and playful and perfect for a kid's room. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because it is not wearing well. Very soon after we unrolled it, it started to pill and shed. We continually find bits of the rug around the room. Maybe we don't have our vacuum on quite the right setting...? But we've never had this problem with any of our other rugs. I was disappointed at first, but a year and a half later, my son still LOVES this rug! He drives his cars and trucks around the road, talks about all the different vehicles on it, and even though the colors are not nearly as vibrant as they look online, the rug still brightens up his room and adds a fun touch. In addition, it's nice and cushy (although the fibers themselves are a little scratchy). For the price and the joy it's brought my son, I feel like it was a great deal (who wants to spend a lot of money for a rug for a young child's room anyway?!).
