Hand-blown Glass 5-light Floral Iron Chandelier

Having ordered several times from Overstock and completely satisfied, this light fixture was a suprise. It was poorly constructed and when trying to assemble the arm threading striped so it was impossible to work with. It ended up in the trash and have ordered one from a lighting store.

I recently purchased the Hand Blown Glass Iron 5-light Floral Chandelier and am enjoying it in my kitchen. My rating is based on my husband's reaction and comments putting it together and the final product. He may not be the most skilled handyman so basing my recommendation on his skill set may not be the best indicator. It is very nice looking however mine was a little wap sided once finished, see above comments! He also complained a good bit by the difficulty in putting it together, but if you are skilled at this sort of thing you may have a more positive experience. I really have nothing else to go on. Overall, I am very happy with the chandelier, it is very unique and fits my style.

While I definitely like the look of the chandelier, it was extremely difficult to put up. The picture and description also indicates that the flowers are lavender. They are more red than purple. The directions were very complicated and were not accurate. It required many hours of hard work to put this chandelier up. I would definitely think twice about ordering this product. While the cost is cheap, the install was costly.

I purchased this for my baby nursery, which is a teeny-tiny bedroom in my house. I was worried that it would overwhelm the room or hang too low but we set the chain at its shortest length and it is perfect. My husband and father-in-law tackled the installation and wiring, and while it was an hours long and somewhat complicated project, it looks so beautiful in the baby's room. the little "purple" accent flowers at the top are really more fuschia than they appear in the pic. I have had so many compliments and I think our little girl will enjoy it for years.

Pretty - wonderful size - small flowers are more red than purple (as they appear in photo) but, the green is a lovely shade and the overall effect is charming! Hubby wouldn't attempt the install - but if wiring is already present, this should not be a difficult hard-wire job. LOVE IT! Delivery was very quick and packing for shipment was substantial.
