perfect color and appearance
This is the 5th area rug that I have ordered, and it is another winner. Arrived wihin a few days, and immediately layed flat under my breakfast table. It is a perfect complement to my decor - a subtle blend of color in the pattern. The previous jute rug that I had lasted for years under heavy traffic, and I expect this one will hold up just as well. Terrific value for the price.

Not what I expected
The rug looks okay although I was expecting it to be more gold in color. It's more ivory than depicted, but it'll still do. What surprised me more was the very textured surface that's not clearly reflected in the description and which is quite rough on bare feet. Also, the edge of the rug has a thick lip that could be a trip hazard. This rug is for a guest room that hardly gets used. Had it been for a room that gets more use I would have been quite upset about the feel of it on the feet and that edge binding that I have to be careful not to let trip me. Had returns been less of a hassle, it may even have been returned.
