Hand Tools

Hand tools are indispensable tools for your home, car and workshop. For large and small jobs, hand tools are practical and useful. Having a hammer around will spare men catching their wives or girlfriends using the heel of their shoes to hang pictures. Having hand tools will save time and spare you embarrassing questions about choices of "substitution tools."

Hammers aren't the only hand tool you should have handy. Screwdrivers of all sizes and head shapes should be included in your tool box. Hand tools, mostly wrenches and screwdrivers, make great starter tool sets for teenagers and those of you who are just starting out. Hand tools will be perfect for most home projects. Remember, you won't always need a lot of power for everyday tasks.

Have a set or two of pliers around; open stuck lids, remove nails from boards and walls, work with wire on delicate jewelry or repair tough fences. Hand tools have so many uses; pick up tool sets and make sure you have just the tools you need.
