I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the piece, although the shipping box had been damaged there was a very slight scratch on the side that is not even noticeable rather than return I accepted the shipment. They could improve the packaging to protect the contents better.

the colors are exactly seen on website. very very dark espresso with lighter color (kinda golden ) on the door. it can fit a regular china dish. i am going to use it in my formal dining room. with a dark espresso table and chair set to give the room a french style.

The chest is beautiful, even though it arrived damaged. Luckly my husband was able to glue the wood, so I didn't have to send it back.

Great accent piece
I bought this chest because it was reasonably priced and much less expensive than similar items I had seen in furniture stores (about 1/2 the price). I put it against a long wall in a large bathroom that I didn't want to have to redecorate. It's old-fashioned "flocked" wallpaper has been there for over 40 years and was in good condition, so I went with an antique look. The pattern on the doors of the chest are unusual and give it that antique look that I wanted. This chest is narrow enough to fit against a wall and not take up too much space, yet it has great storage space, which I use for hand towels and bathroom tissue. It is a perfect accessory if you want to add a little style to your room. It was easy to assemble (just put the legs on) and had no damage from transit. I am very pleased with this purchase and think you would be too!

VERY WELL PACKAGED. BUT, WAS DISAPPOINTED TO SEE SCRATCH ON TOP. KEPT PRODUCT. DID SOMEWHAT POLISH OUT AND PUT RUNNER ON TOP TO COVER. NOT FIRST WUALITY.

The color is amazing.
This is a beautiful piece. It does have a divider in the center (each door opens to its own space with shelves). It was easy to assemble, and no marks on the furniture. The color allows me to meld to other pieces of furniture of different color in the same small space. The only problem I had was the piece wanted to tip forward. I simply unscrewed the front legs a bit to make them higher. I would highly recommend this.
