Great swing, attractive and sturdy. But the ropes are awful. I bought chain at the hardware store and used it instead.

This is a beautiful swing. We had in Phoenix Az. for 3 summers where it endured intense sun and heat. We kept it oiled and it is still beautiful. It is a great wood swing. Nothing cheap about it. I love it.

I got 2 of these and everyone that comes over just loves swinging on them. It reminds me of being at my grandma's house sitting with her swinging such a great time to spend with love one.

I love this hammock stand. I'm 200 lbs and never feel like it can't hold up, even when I'm sitting sideways and swinging, full on. I did buy a can of rustoleum clear and sprayed it down real good on the bottom and where all the pieces fit together and at the ends of the peices before tapping the endcaps on, just as a precaution and after reading some other reviewers were having trouble with rust. Take the time to do it on yours, you'll feel good knowing you've done everything you can do to protect your investment. Great product! Snaps together beautifully, ready in just minutes!

I bought 4 of these hammock chairs and hung them near each other from trees in my yard for a relaxing area for us to sit and spend time together outside. I was concerned when I ordered them of the weight load they would tolerate, but my husband who is over 200 lbs swings in them. I believe the weight limit is close with his weight, but they didn't break. They are so comfortable, you can spread the rope chair and crawl up in it and just hang like floating. We had to buy additional rope to hang it up from the branches attaching to the chair hardware, but a package of thick rope according to the weight load, is very inexpensive. We just tied the rope around the branch, not to damage the tree branch and tied it on the chair hardware and it's excellent! I want more for my porch.

Looks really good. Pretty easy to put up. You just need to think about how to get the rope up and tied without it twisting.

The overall product was worth the money. There were several rough spots on the finish, but I sanded them and painted the entire chair white. We have had several nice comments about our porch swing.

Excellent hammock. Appears to be well made, comfortable. Needs time to stretch. We found it was good to put up, stretch as tight as was easily done and then let it rest. The end result was the chain was doubled and the hammock supports over 200 lbs. with the bottom clearing the ground by a foot. We're pleased, would recommend.
Using a hammock may seem intimidating at first glance; it has to be hung, spread out, safely entered, and once you're in, you have to maintain your balance to avoid rolling right back out. While it might sound scary, using a hammock is actually fairly simple if you know what you're getting into before you get started. Safely Using a Hammock: Find a place to secure it: Trees are the traditional spot of suspension, but anything tall enough to keep you off the ground and hold your weight will work just as well.
