Quite a good product. The swing is heavy duty (and a bit heavy) but manageable. Directions are a bit sketchy but you really only need common sense after looking at the parts. Wait till it is together prior to tightening bolts. Chain was long enough to hang from a 7' outside frame. Actually, had to cut a length off to make it fit and look good. Don't know why the plastic is on the chain...it tends to hold condensation on warm days and might accelerate rust, but the finish if pretty good. I, too, had the little ding on the back top arch that everyone mentions. Nothing to be worried about.

Just removed a front room of my home to add a good front porch. Had a porch swing already bought (made out of solid cedar wood) looked good. But gave it to wife's parents. (they needed one) So I had to get another, saw this at same price and it's much better. Looks great and is very comfortable you don't need a pillow or pad. It made my porch look clean and neat. Just make sure you have the chains both in same position or it will not hang right. (simple) love that the chain's are covered in think plastic and the hook's at the top are class too. I love it. and what's super cool is my wife was very happy with my buy. odd but true.

The only reason I rated this a good instead of excellent is because the swing my kids have has a foot piece that is connected, the armrests are adjustable and the cupholder is in the armrest. These arm rests are slightly high for me to sit in the swing a long time comfortably. The drink holder hangs from the top bar. It's okay, but not super convenient. The foot piece dangles separately and gets in the way if you don't want to use it. But here's the thing: this is built VERY WELL and will last. AND it was 1/3 the price my kids paid for theirs! I'll live with little inconveniences for that kind of a bargain!

This swing arrived faster than anticipated. All the pieces were covered with protective plastic from the box. All screws and necessary items for assembly were located in a little plastic pouch. It has large hooks at the top of the chain to hang the swing by. The chain holding the swing remains covered with thick plastic to protect your fingers. It's a little heavy when assembled but nothing I couldn't manage by myself. It's really pretty on the porch and I'm still smiling.

This swing really adds to the charm of our big front porch. It's a loveseat, so it would easily fit on something smaller too. The assembly is really easy! One person could do it, but two people make it a little easier to maneuver and hang. It's a beautiful bronze color. I put a cushion on the seat portion, but I don't want to cover up the back with a cushion. The chains come with it and they are covered with heavy plastic. It's very comfortable and looks great. We've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I haven't had it that long, so I cannot attest to how it will hold up to the weather. My front porch is covered, so it isn't directly out in the open. At any rate, it's lovely to look at, very comfortable and is more unique than a regular wooden porch swing. It arrived quickly, the box was intact and all the hardware was included. We are very pleased.

I like the swing. Only problem is that there were some dents that were there before it was painted. Nothing I can't live with. Also the paint wasn't dry or something when the the hooks were packed on top of the plastic tubing on the chain. This left the hooks and tubing tacky but since that part is hanging up high I can live with it. Made in China, of course.
Using a hammock may seem intimidating at first glance; it has to be hung, spread out, safely entered, and once you're in, you have to maintain your balance to avoid rolling right back out. While it might sound scary, using a hammock is actually fairly simple if you know what you're getting into before you get started. Safely Using a Hammock: Find a place to secure it: Trees are the traditional spot of suspension, but anything tall enough to keep you off the ground and hold your weight will work just as well.
