Fun stand for hammock chairs. Tricky to get the chair's rope just right such that it faces outward from supports bow. Easy to assemble, yet does require level surface, my deck pitched to allow drainage...yet causes support to rock a bit. Not sure how it would do on just basic dirt. Good product though.

Seems to be very well constructed, didn't require any tools to assemble, once it was put together and we hung the hammock it was very easy for two people to move it anywhere we wanted.

Easy assembly, no tools required, sturdy, quality materials, simply delightful and simply could not be happier :)

I am impressed with the quality of both the hammock and the stand. It's a good thing I like it so much because I'm sure it will be around for years to come. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the duo is to put together. The stand has three bars that slide into the "feet' of the stand held there by internal metal pins. No tools required. The hammock or course did not need assembly either. The stand comes with metal hooks and chain to hang the hammock from. Just FYI.

Love this swing! It came with missing hardware (due to box being opened some during transport--the boxes are very heavy), but contacted Overstock and they were able to get replacement parts to me within a week. Assembly required 2 people: done in ~2 hrs. Only problem I'm having is since the canopy is waterproof (that's a good thing actually) it holds bulges of water when it rains. The canopy is secured to frame with velcro strips so will try tightening it more or maybe remove when heavy rain is predicted.

The box is rather heavy. However, assembly was absolutely simple! Because many of the pieces are heavy, it might require more than one person if it is a lady putting it together. But, one man can do it easily. The instructions are very clear and each part is labeled. I would say it is impossible to mess up, but I am reminded of trying to help my mother with a computer problem over the phone. Arg!!! and Grrr!!! It states the weight limit is 350 lbs. I am a bit heavier and it sustains me very well. I wish it was a bit higher off the ground. I have a pinched sciatic, which makes it a bit difficult to sit and then get back up. But with my cane to assist me, I have learned how to sit and get back up easily. Just one other thing: its footprint is a bit larger than I expected. But, I still thoroughly enjoy it. I do highly recommend it. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the spring and summer!

The quality of the swing was as expected - well built, nicely finished, quality construction. As with most imported products, the assembly instructions were a brief one page "follow the pictures" which proved adequate for the level of assembly required. Unfortunately, the hardware package which included a handful of bolts, nuts, and washers, was missing all four "A" connecting bolts which are needed to attach the bench seat to the frame. With some persistence, I was able to find a suitable substitute at a local hardware store. This resulted in taking longer to assemble the swing, but did not prevent us from enjoying it once assembly was completed.

The shipping box for the C-stand is completely inadequate. It arrived with parts protruding outside the box on 2 different spot. This cause the paint to be scraped off of the stand in a couple of spots. It was too heavy and cumbersome to deal with returning, so we assembled it anyway. The top portion of the stand did not fit properly into the bottom section and the screw holes would not line up until resorting to a hammer to force the top far enough down into the bottom portion to allow the supplied screws to be installed. The chair is confusing to assemble. I did not expect to be required to assemble the chair itself. The wood on the chair arms is very rough and not at all smooth like furniture should be. It requires sanding and then you would need to re-stain it for it to look right. Once it is assembled, the back of the chair tends to hit the C-stand a lot. If you have a place that you can hang the chair without a stand, it would be FAR better. The C-stand is okay but it does not compare to one that is hanging from a support beam. With all that being said, the chair is comfy and suits our purposes fairly well. It seems to be safe.

This was a gift to my parents who love this swing. It is a beautiful color and sits very comfortably. Some assembly required.
Using a hammock may seem intimidating at first glance; it has to be hung, spread out, safely entered, and once you're in, you have to maintain your balance to avoid rolling right back out. While it might sound scary, using a hammock is actually fairly simple if you know what you're getting into before you get started. Safely Using a Hammock: Find a place to secure it: Trees are the traditional spot of suspension, but anything tall enough to keep you off the ground and hold your weight will work just as well.
