This is a very heavy duty hammock stand and although we have only had it for a week or so, I think it will last quite a while. Assembly took about 5 minutes with no tools required. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Fun stand for hammock chairs. Tricky to get the chair's rope just right such that it faces outward from supports bow. Easy to assemble, yet does require level surface, my deck pitched to allow drainage...yet causes support to rock a bit. Not sure how it would do on just basic dirt. Good product though.

Very good hanging chair and great for the price. It didn't require a lot of assembling at all, just the dowels which go right in. Get an I bolt or something to hang it from and your good to go. I have one outside in my Oak tree and one hanging in the garage.

I ordered this a few years ago. It is good quality. A little assembly required but I was able to do it by myself no problem. It has held up great. The only thing is ...there is a thick plastic covering over the chains and it gets faded, wet, ugly with age. But, I dont really know any way around that.

I am impressed with the quality of both the hammock and the stand. It's a good thing I like it so much because I'm sure it will be around for years to come. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the duo is to put together. The stand has three bars that slide into the "feet' of the stand held there by internal metal pins. No tools required. The hammock or course did not need assembly either. The stand comes with metal hooks and chain to hang the hammock from. Just FYI.

We ordered the brown swing and it was exactly how it looked on the website. We also purchased a cushion and are very pleased with both of them. No assembly required. We've had it for about 5-6 months now and it is very durable, comfortable and stylish.

The shipping box for the C-stand is completely inadequate. It arrived with parts protruding outside the box on 2 different spot. This cause the paint to be scraped off of the stand in a couple of spots. It was too heavy and cumbersome to deal with returning, so we assembled it anyway. The top portion of the stand did not fit properly into the bottom section and the screw holes would not line up until resorting to a hammer to force the top far enough down into the bottom portion to allow the supplied screws to be installed. The chair is confusing to assemble. I did not expect to be required to assemble the chair itself. The wood on the chair arms is very rough and not at all smooth like furniture should be. It requires sanding and then you would need to re-stain it for it to look right. Once it is assembled, the back of the chair tends to hit the C-stand a lot. If you have a place that you can hang the chair without a stand, it would be FAR better. The C-stand is okay but it does not compare to one that is hanging from a support beam. With all that being said, the chair is comfy and suits our purposes fairly well. It seems to be safe.

I was looking for something for my front porch, so I needed it to be both attractive and comfortable. This was one of the few I found online that I thought could work in my space AND my budget. I received it in the expected amount of time, although I have to say that what arrived in the mail surprised me. Both ends of the box were torn off -- which I originally assumed was damage during transit and just counted myself lucky that all the pieces were intact -- but then I realized that this chair had clearly been owned/handled before. It was in good shape, but everything that required tying or attaching during assembly (according to the instructions) was already done. I was a bit disappointed at that realization but plowed ahead -- and I'm glad I did! As I was assembling it, I couldn't believe it would actually hold someone's weight. It's a genius design though and although there are no permanent connections between the poles and the ropes, it's very sturdy. I weigh 185 lbs and feel completely supported in it. The arm and foot rests are a really nice touch and go a long way to make this feel like a piece of real furniture. It's extremely comfortable and pretty attractive in an outdoorsy way. Plus, it's easy to move in the event of bad weather. I would definitely recommend it.

This product requires absolutely FLAT surface or anchoring to be 100% stable. Once the proper hardware was received, it was a breeze to assemble. We're enjoying it quite a bit.
