  • Ok but not heavy duty

    I was looking for a countop shredder/slicer and this was really the only option. I once had a food processor with a slicer grater blade and an ejector top but I can no longer find one like it. So I like that I can put this on a counter and eject into a bowl underneath the shooter and that the attachments can be stored with the unit. I find it works well but seems to labor on hard vegs like carrots. I am noticing a slight smell like the motor could burn out so may have to update this review.

    It's awkward to use, the button needs to be held down the entire time it's operating, the feeder shoot is small and the cutting inserts don't fit quite right so partially grated/sliced food gets trapped in there & it's a pain to clean.

I like that this sits on the counter for hands-free use and the extruder is high enough to place a bowl underneath, unlike other "shooter" hand-held products.
