Excellent surprise
I purchased this product as a gift for my daughter. She loves salads and uses this product to shred everything! Works great and is easy to use. The glad containers make it convenient to store and save food for later. Great idea for those of us not interested in a large food processor.

Slick Grater
Great for shredded potatoes for hasbrowns and grated cheese. Anxious to use for slaw and sliced carrots and cucumbers. They recommend that soft cheeses be frozen. Don't totally freeze or the unit has a hard time shredding. Very convenient to have the Glad storage containers for keeping extra shredded food. We put extra shredded cheese in the freezer. Nice device for the price.

Change-a-Bowl
I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach Change-a-Bowl and have found it a nice addition to my kitchen. I liked the idea of using the Gladware 6 cup round storage containers directly in the processor. The unit came with three Gladware containers. I purchased additional containers so that I would have readily available containers for my storage needs.I also discovered that the 7 cup Anchor Hocking and Pyrex round glass storage containers fit in the Change-a-Bowl. I had previously purchased 8 of the 7 cup Anchor Hocking at a discount store. So I have plenty of storage containers for use in the Change-a-Bowl.The unit is working very well. It is easy to use and clean.
