It is just exactly what I wanted..it fits great on my counter space and is easily available to use at a moments notice..It is very fast and efficient and very easy to clean..Really happy that I choose this product..and I think anyone who just needs a quick food processor would be very happy with this one.
This is a very basic and inexpensive food processor. I think it is a fair value. I primarily use it to blend ingredients that I needed to combine in small batches with my small chopper before buying this. It cuts fat into flour or oatmeal quickly and evenly, it makes oat flour from whole oats and bread crumbs from toast. I didn't have good luck with the grater/slicer attachment but I haven't played with it much. It made slices of varying sizes and thicknesses. It could be my technique needs practice but I can't vouch for that portion of this processor.
It is a bit tricky to assemble but once you get it, it's easy to do a second time.
I would buy this again knowing it's functionality but if I wanted something inexpensive yet capable of doing larger capacity blending not anything fancy.
I've had a Cuisinart for over 30 years but when we bought a second home I didn't want to spend the money for a second machine. I read the reviews of this one and yes, yes, it's an excellent machine. Easy to use, powerful, easy to clean. Nothing NOT to like!
This is the first food processor I have ever owned and I am amazed at how versatile it is. It is compact and can be stored with all its parts contained in the unit. Very easy to clean and reasonably priced.

Would this unit be suitable for making cashew butter? Or heavy batters that involve cashew butter?

Hello, this processor does not have enough watts (power) to tackle making consistent batches of nut butter. To use it that way is beyond the scope of what it was designed for which is an affordable fruit and vegetable chopper & slicer. If you can afford a Vitamix or Blendtec, they are top of the line. I do like the Ninja BL770 at 1500 watts. It will handle the nut butters just fine and is very affordable. Please see:

Hello abody1, this goes to 120 volts only. I checked our inventory for a dual voltage processor and unfortunately, I didn't find one. You should be able to find a dual voltage by searching the internet. Thank you for checking with us.overstockcustomercare1 on May 22, 2014
