I love my espresso machine! I bought it for my husband for Christmas and we have gotten a lot of use out of it. The only sad part is that the machine does not come with espresso cups. I didn't think that it would be a big deal but it's hard when you want to make multiple gourmet drinks and you don't have a cup with measurements. Anyone know where I can find one for cheap?

I have had this machine for 1 month. I love it. Also LOVE that it can take the standard E.S.E. pod and freshly ground beans. I have tried several espresso blends in my Kitchen-aid Pro grinder with good results. Have also used Starbucks and Illy pods when making several cappuccinos for a party. Good results each time after an initial day of experimentation. Make sure you run some hot water thru the machine before inserting the pod holder.Had been considering a $500 machine when I read a user review of the HB on a *******.
This is by far the worst espresso maker I have seen/used (and I have seen a few!). Bought this one to replace our old Krups pump espresso maker that had given up after 7 years of service (used a few times a day, every day!). I wish they still made that model and that it was affordable (the Krups one). Thought (based on the reviews here and someplace else) that his could make a decent shot of espresso. Oh, boy - how far from that... coffee tastes absolutely horrible (using the same can of Bustello Coffee I have used for years and up until the Krups gave up on us). No crema whatsoever!! A steam espresso maker (have had some of those before) will give you much better results. Used it for 3 days trying different pressure on tapping the coffee grounds, thinking it will make a difference. Not at all. It is bulky, made of very cheap metal and plastic, i can guarantee you it will not last that long, even if you somehow pull of making a decent tasting cup of coffee! The basket got stuck in place after every use, so when you go to clean it, the handle will come out and the basket with the used coffee grounds will be stuck , literally attached to the maker - had to use a screw driver to pry it out every time! Needless to say - cleaned it up and it is back in the box, waiting for Overstock to make a decision if they will allow a return. This is another aspect of me not being happy with the purchase or rather the return. If you are used to *** or other companies returns, get ready for a different experience. It is done via e-mail and it takes some time. Just the fact that it HAS to be approved and you have to wait, you can't just go on an print a return label and drop it off to be shipped back speaks for itself. Another thing you have to be aware of - if you want your refund in the original payment you may have to pay for shipping back the product. Really? The espresso maker was *** cheaper on and it is a hassle-free (literally takes 2 min) if you had an issue and was dissatisfied with the product. Had I not had Overstock credit to use, this would have not been the site i purchase from. Now I have to wait and see if they will refund my store credit, so I can purchase a decent one. I may just go someplace else and use the credit (provided I get one) on something not as risky as a cheaply made worth nothing espresso maker. Sorry for the long rant - as you can tell I am an espresso addict :) and take it seriously! Do NOT waste your money, time and energy on purchasing this product. (Negative **) if I could.
