This did exactly what I needed it to do, it roasted my 17# turkey perfectly, although it took much less time than an oven takes, I put the larger bird in the convection oven on roast 325 degrees, and they were done at the same time. It does not brown the food/poultry like an oven does, no problem, though, I just browned both in a very hot oven for 1/2 hour (450 degrees) then put in the preheated 325 degree roaster.
