My purchase of the Torch light with a reading light was a long search ending exceeding my expectations. I was looking for a light for multi use in to give more light to an open floor plan room as well as provide extra light for my daughters keyboard sheet music. Success in one light with dual purpose! Both lights can be on or each separately. A single eco light bulb was included in the purchase.
The brushed nickle was consistant with what is on the market today but as a low price. The base of the light pole is very weighted and makes for that much more of a sturdy lamp that I don't have to worry about tipping over. The height of the top light reflects well off my 8ft ceilings and cast light well throughout the room. The adjustable reading light works great for reading sheet music as my daughter practices now without excuse of not enough light. All over a 2 thumbs up deal as it shipped and was to my home in less than a week and a holiday week at that!

I am very pleased with the lamp, but the join on one of the sections is not threaded in all the way. Hoping WD-40 will take care of it because this lamp is wonderful and not going back. Note: it does require special bulbs but worth it.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? yes
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great, except for the threads on the sections did not all perform correctly.

This lamp was and is perfect for our need. Top light illuminates the 10x10 computer room, the lower light can be directed to the desk or keyboard. It is also very attractive! The only downside was that the knob on the lower light broke off as soon as we took it out of the box. We have to use 2 hands to turn it, now. But I can't imagine every lamp has this happen, so I would definitely recommend it.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color was exactly as in image
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fine, except that the on/off knob on the lower lamp broke off immediately and even JB Weld hasn't fixed it. It now takes 2 hands (one with a potholder because it's hot) to turn the lamp on or off.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate
Thanks for your interest, the reader light is approximately 38 inches from the ground.overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 1, 2013
Is the reader light adjustable? does it swivel at the base where it connects to the lamp and does the head of the light swivel as well?mike0351 on Feb 1, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thanks for your interest, the reader light is adjustable, the reader light is adjustable not the main lamp. overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 4, 2013
The reader light swivels and can be adjusted with the coil holder that attaches head. It can only use a 40watt bulb but is quite bright and enough for reading.nanaof3g on Apr 3, 2013
Does 3 way socket mean that the main light can use a 3 way bulb (if yes, what wattage) or is the total wattage for the lamp 120 (60 watt bulbs for each light?mal21 on Nov 4, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
