I've been very pleased with this cleaner. I've got hardwoods and a dog, and it's certainly better than a mop and bucket. I completely agree with the other reviews that said the directions were sparse (to say the least). I thought one of the attachments was to steam clean pets, but it turns out that's a terrible idea. My dog wouldn't come near me for weeks afterwards.

Just got the MS-30. Used it on tile floor, grout, stove top & sink.. It works great and cleans better than with mop and chemicals. Heats up in about 5 minutes with a full tank and lasts about 25 minutes. The cord is kind of short and can be a little trouble storing. Cord storage door keeps opening while the steamer is in use. I just used a bit of tape to keep it closed. No big deal. This is the only reason I did not give it a 5th star. It really is a 4.5 star appliance.Yes a longer retractable cord would be a great addition. I read all reviews before purchasing. The machine itself works quite well. It worked wonders in corners and cracks in the shower, on baseboards, etc. I wish it had a retractable cord and a place to store all accessories. Like others stated before me, the directions for the accessories? There aren't any - but after trial and error you can figure them out. Looking at the pictures on the box was quite helpful. Good burst of steam. The tile floors came clean and were dry in minutes. I rated durability low and that was mainly for the compartment that stores the electric cord - that is rather flimsy in my opinion. I do love the machine and would recommend it.

I love this thing! My stainless steel appliances, which never look clean with chemical cleaners, now look better than they did when I bought them. I've done my floors, upholstery, shower, and mirrors with this and everything is spotless. I could not recommend it more.

I have used this steamer as a carpet cleaner and a hardwood floor cleaner. It is light weight, and produces a good amount of steam. The carpet cleaner does not have a brush, so I did spot treat stains. I did not see a big difference in my carpet, but I feel that with the amount of hot steam, they are at least germ free for the most part. On the hardwood floors, same review, I at least feel they were clean. Comes with Owners Manual, however, I think it needs more clear instructions on how to use the parts.

I was a bit hesitant to spend quite this much on a steamer, considering there are many lower priced units on the market. However, after much research, I found that Haan's steamers are consistently rated well and found that the price was reasonable given that this is a floor steamer AND a hand-held unit in one. My first test was the shower. I've tried numerous organic products, trying to keep the shower clean without using a lot of chemicals, but the shower looked awful. I used "Kaboom" and other tough cleaners, but the shower still wasn't totally clean. I spent 10 minutes on the shower with our Haan steamer, and it looks the best it's looked in years!! Incredible!! There's definitely some elbow grease involved, but the steam breaks up stains and dirt better than any abrasive chemical! Our tile and wood floors take a real beating with heavy traffic and two little kids. But the steamer not only cleaned the floors, it disinfected and removed stuck-on "stuff" that I'd tried scrubbing with no success! Incredible! And all without chemicals! Within a month of purchase, my husband accidentally left his car windows down overnight and it rained HARD. His car was soaked! Instead of taking it in for detailing, I steam cleaned the entire vehicle, and it looks GREAT! We easily saved $100 on detailing! Pros: Fair price for what you get WORKS GREAT!! Loads of attachments. Steam is over 200 degrees (lots of steamers only heat to about 150, which is hot enough to get dirt up but not hot enough to sanitize and kill germs). This is a huge plus, as I don't have to use germ-killing chemicals, limiting our chemical exposure AND saving money on products! Cons: The instructions really are terrible. There are loads of great attachments, but using them isn't necessarily self-explanatory. I found the photos on the product's box to be a lot more helpful than the actual instruction manual! Don't toss the box until you're used to the steamer :) Takes about 10 minutes to heat up a full tank of water. However, considering how large the tank is and how long that amount of water will last while cleaning, it's actually pretty reasonable, and way better than having to stop repeatedly to refill and heat new water.

i had read the prior reviews and really considered this purchase before buying. i recently had 2 dachshund puppies join my household and can 2 little puppies make a MESS! i needed something to get the Pergo floors really clean,not just look clean. this product is absolutely amazing!!! it not only got my floors squeaky clean but also my mirrors, windows, countertops, stone shower and white wood cabinets. can't wait to use on my mattresses and pillows. also please note the manual is really easy to understand. i did not find it confusing or difficult to understand at all. i do recommend keeping it to refresh your memory from time to time. thanks Haan for a wonderful product.

My husband and I have both used the steamer and are very pleased with. As pet owners, we have found plenty of uses, from cleaning up after the dog to steam-cleaning the bird cage. We use it on hardwood floors and tile and like its versatility.Our only wish would be that it had a retractable cord as the cord can be a bit stubborn when it comes time to put the machine away.

I used the Haan steamer for the first time last weekend to clean my floors. It was so easy!! When the floors were dry, which was almost immediately, they were so shiny. You could practically eat off of them. I couldn't stop touching them!! This is an excellent product and worth every penny.

This seems to be a pretty good product. The instructions for the parts included is a little lacking, but after using it a few times it makes more sense.Like the fact that it is an All-In-One machine. I looked at the other Haan products but did not want to have a couple of machines lying around when one could do the job.Easy to use and light weight. If your use to mopping the floors, using steam gets some getting used to.For the price, not bad!

This is the best steamer that I have ever used. The machine heated up and was ready very quickly. I used it on wood and tile floors and it did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this product.

I have used the Haan cleaner about 4 or 5 times, so far so good. No problems. I love the way my wood floors look afterwards it's so easy to use that I actually clean my floors more often than I use too. I used it in my tile shower and it got rid of soap scum without chemicals. Sometimes I hate waiting to it to heat back up while in use, but thats usually when I am using full steam like with an attachment not while cleaning the floors. The only fault that I can find is the cord storage, it's a joke. I can't get the cord all the way in there.

Who ever has tile floore should get this one ! I have tiles in my first floor and this does the job for cleaning ! I love it !

I LOVE this steamer - it does not leave pools of water on my hardwood - the tank is large enough to last to clean the entire downstairs of my house (over 1,500 sqft downstairs!) I use it on tile, on hardwood, on baseboards. I have cleaned my oven without any harsh chemicals - great for cleaning under edge of my smooth surface cooktop - best appliance I have!

I really like this steamer. My floors feel great to walk on bare footed after cleaning them with the steam cleaner. Does a nice job on windows and mirrors. I used it to clean an over...worked great! I also have used it to clean my grill. Definitely would recommend.

It works okay for its price range. They do have good customer service. When it started leaking they sent a new unit.

VERY sad about this-I had new flooring (tile) installed last summer so I have had this for 9 months. I THOUGHT I could go over floors and they would stay super clean. WELL NO! I can go over what I JUST steamed with the washable microfiber pads and when I go over the same area with a paper towel-it looks like there is a complete layer of dirt immediately. VERY SAD ABOUT THIS PURCHASE. maybe i should try returning it.I just wanted to give it a chance. sorry I bougjht it.

I use this every week on my kitchen tile floor. It does a good job. You do need to get extra pads for it as they get dirty and need to be washed.

This is good for everything except carpet, unless you just want to sterilize it. I'd have rather gotten a shampooer but, it's ok for bathroom walls and such.
