Haan Floor Steamer Hard Surface Cleaner

I had been considering a steam mop because I was tired of paying for the Swiffer WetJet pads and cleaner liquid. I finally decided to purchase the Haan Floor Steamer from Overstock because the price was lower with a 10% off coupon than any other I could find online. It arrived in about a week, just in time for weekend cleaning. I added filtered water, let it heat, and then cleaned my floor. I LOVE it! The tile we have in our kitchen is not smooth, and dirt had built up in indentations that the Swiffer could never clean. I just kept the Haan mop for a few seconds over the dirty areas, and the dirt was easily removed when I moved the pad over it. What a great purchase! Yes, it does leave some moisture on the tiles, but so did the Swiffer. It dries in a few minutes, and my floor looks great. I highly recommend the Haan steam mop!

This product works very well. It cleans up most any mess easily. Its very easy to use and simple to maintain and store. Be careful to always put it on the pad they provide when its on and not in use. I made the mistake of leaving it after I turned it off (but it was still hot), sitting on the floor and it faded the linoleum in one place. The only downside to this steam cleaner is the cord is too short. I cant reach my whole kitchen floor without moving it from one outlet to another. Also the floor doesnt dry right away, it takes a few minutes for the floor to dry, unlike the commercial implies. Other than that its a great product.

We have used the Haan steam cleaner several times on our hardwood and vinyl floors and are very satisfied with its performance. We typically do not wear shoes indoors and our floors are kept reasonably free of dirt and dust. Our kitchen floor is almost twenty years old and, with the steamer, it looks as though it's still new. We like the way the steamer removes any streaks and films from using conventional floor cleaning fluids. The only shortcoming is not having purchased additional micropads; The two pads supplied with the steamer last about 10 minutes each before becoming saturated. We can clean one or two rooms, but we do intend to purchase more pads so we can service more rooms at one time.We have the -20 model; the newer -35 model holds more water between refills and is probably even a better value.
