My air purifier arrived promptly and in great condition. Have only used it for about two months now,but so far it is doing a fine job. It is quiet in all but the highest speed, does the whole house(2,400+s.f.) and the remote control is a great extra. The item seems to be of top-notch quality and having mostly cleanable filters is nice. Hope it lasts as long as they say. Other purifiers for higher prices do not cover the area this one does and their filters have to be replaced and at quite a cost

After using about 3 weeks, dust reduced in the house to an extent but not to an extent the product advertized. There was more dust seen to have deposited on the front of the fan grill than the rear filter, hummm. To my surprise the unit seems to takes more air in from front than rear. How it's possible, it the design of the fan. The fan cannot pull more air from the rear so it sucks air from the center of the unit and circulates then blows it from the outer side of the gril. To test my theory, I was able to place a piece of medium weight 3in circular paper at the center of the fan gril without any glue. I think buyer should look other products may before desiding. For the maker, please redesign the fan blades to be more effective.

Let's start out by saying I have Pulmonary Fibrosis (scaring on lungs) and use oxygen daily I purchased this air purifier on 2/16/10 for my area at work. I work in a school and operate 2 large cannon copiers. The ozone emited from the copiers were causing a heaviness in my chest and dificulty breathing. I researched many air purifiers and was impressed with the 6 filter system this one offers. It covers 3000 sq ft and is priced lower than other brands that only cover 600-700 sq ft. The purifier arrived on a Thurs. afternoon. I immediately pluged it in, put the fan on high (it's silent) and it's been running ever since. I noticed a difference in the air the next morning and the teachers comment daily on how "nice it smells" in the copy room. This machine is WONDERFUL and I'm ordering one for my home today!!

This unit seems great , so far. Even having the fan on the highest setting , it's actually quiet. As soon as I do a return on 2 others I bought( Honeywells)...I will definately be buying a second unit. I'll have one at each end of the house. I'm not sure what the difference between this one and the other one just like it , except price. But, I'm definately keeping this one, so far. :-) I suffer from sinus infections that end up turning into Bronical pneumonia. So , My Dr. recommended air purifiers and , I know the Best place to find them. Overstock.com.
