First, I purchased a refurbished unit along with with a 2 yr warranty agreement from Overstock after my original unit stopped working. Pros: easy assembly instructions are clear and strightforward Well made sturdy unit, ergoniomic design, lightweight Unit comes with tools for other uses such as tile grout, tough oven grime etc. Good steam output, pads are quick change with Velcro strip backing, 1 small tank of water lasts between 15 - 18 min. Excellent product for those with chemical allergies it cleans quite well for medium sized jobs. Not recommending for heavily soiled greasy floors or floors not prepped by sweeping, vacuuming or dry mopping first. Great for daily cleaning of floors and other surfaces. Cons: not effective for heavily soiled floors. You will use up your pads too quickly and clean a number of times to obtain a satisfactory result. The Haan SI - 70 is a great unit for its size it does a very good job on laminate floors, ceramic tile and grout, appliances with impossible to clean baked on soils. It's a pleasure to use and delivers on its promises contained in the accompanying booklet.

    I ordered this after price shopping similar steamers. It arrived very quickly, very well packaged, and was working within a few minutes. We use at least once weekly, throughout the house, shower, and love the ease of use, versatility and the simplicity of those cloth heads! I had bought 2 (yes 2!) prior, from a different source as warehouse returns, and they had not been reconditioned or tested and neither worked. My advise: buy at great price, buy refurb, buy the $7.99 warranty :) Mine is fine, but just in case....
