'The Kiss' Gold-framed Canvas by Klimt

this is an amazing value. the colors really pop, the size is perfect for my living room and it just looks awesome.
The frame is looks like the synthetic material that it is, but the flecks of gold in the frame do pick up light nicely. The print itself has subdued colors, so that it would probably work best in a bedroom or a setting where it isn't a prominent piece. Personal taste will determine how you react to the picture; it's also a Klimt work one doesn't see often, and it's nice enough that I've kept it and used it.
Im a huge Klimt fan. thus i felt it would be very little risk in purchasing anythign of his & that i was bound to love it. I was a little disappointed with this canvas because the sides and top and bottom of the wrapped canvas are white, the print is only on the flat surface. i think the white stands out and that it really should be framed because of that. the colors arent as bright as id hoped, theyre kind of drab, Klimts work is not something i would ever describe as drab so i was disheartened at that. the size for the prize is really great though, & the picture is sharp and clear. the expressions of the people are vibrant which is why i love this particular piece so much. its not the best piece i have bough from overstock, but all & all to be fair, its just a print & still very good.
This is a gorgeous Gustav Klimt print.; the price is an insanely good deal for what you receive. I needed a nice big piece of art to put over my bed and fill up a big white space, this looks amazing! The colors are vibrant, but soft, this is definitely a statement piece! There is no glass so I felt safe hanging it up over my bed and it’s fairly lightweight, in fact it was so easy to hang, I did it without my boyfriend's help! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thanks Overstock!
the frame under the canvas was tiny. So a frame is recommended. it does not hold it sown in my opinion.
