First time anyone used the beach house sleeper they complained the whole next day about how they ached and didn't sleep. Found this pad and the next time they did said it made a 150% difference and they slept the whole night.
The mattress cover did make sleeping on the sofa bed more comfortable for my guests. The only downside is as others pointed out...it is difficult to store after use. It's a bulky item and not easy to store in original packaging.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
It's important to remember that this mattress pad is for a convertible sofa bed. While the surface fabric is very nice and the fit is excellent with wide elastic bands, the sewn sections are uneven and that causes some overall lumpiness. I'm sure I would not like this product on a regular bed, but it is a considerable improvement on the sofa bed mattress. I have not yet laundered this product, but do have some concerns about how it will fare.
