THE BASICS: Bought these for 75-inch doors that open onto a deck. It gets cold in Summit County, CO, so I've been looking for curtains that can insulate when it gets down to negative temperatures. As I just hung them, can't say how they perform on that front, but fabric seems heavy enough to keep the cold out. SIZE: I've heard it said that you need to buy curtains that are 2.5 times the size of the window being covered. Perhaps, but I like that these cover the windows with a little left to spare, and the rest of the time, hang without a lot of bulk on either side of the window. FEATURES: Antique brass grommets were tough to match with a curtain rod, so ended up buying solid black with fun finial from overstock.com. Dislike the plastic end, but no one can tell. Antique brass looks great with black. COLOR: These were true to color, something I was very nervous about. They blend into the rest of the room while adding a bit of elegance to the decor. ALSO: These come with pull-backs, as noted. Not sure others I was looking at do. Nice to have this, but keep in mind you have to purchase hooks to attach pull back to BOTTOM LINE: Really like these so far, particularly compared to Themalogic ones purchased from Sierra Trading Post. Cheaper, yes, but definitely noticeable that they cost less. If only can find these in size I need for the other windows!

Panels are made of quality fabric not great quality though but still ok for me; next time will go for a more expensive look since they are at the entrance and could use a higher quality ones but can't complain for the price; came a lit wrinkled but sent to dryer w/ wet towel and problem solved. Right length and width and love the brown rings that go with my antique brown pole that I also bought thru overstock. Got the beige color and just use it for decor since I have blinds. I do not care about see through and not sure if it does a good job in that regard since I have them open all the time. It gave my house a warm touch and "ambience" to the living room. I recommend this product.

I got these in beige because some of the reviewers stated that the color was darker than they anticipated. I was hoping for a little darker, but they are a pretty, creamy color and look nice on my sliders. I got them more for coverage and energy savings (hot or cold) rather than regulating the light in the room. If you are using them in a room where you need real darkness, I would go with a different color. The front and back of the curtains are the same color which is nice and the material is soft - microfibery (not a real word) feeling. Glad I got them.

These drapes are so nice ! Everything about them was perfectly described & I love them. I plan to order more for other windows in my home. We just moved in here & need drapes or curtains for several other rooms & these are the ones I will order. I really like the grommet tops because I don't need anything else to hang them. No hooks, etc. to bother with & putting them in the dryer with a damp towel was SUCH good advice. Not one wrinkle ! They look so nice hung up & do everything the ad said they did.

We got 2 sets of the chocolate blackout curtains for our family room. We needed good coverage of the long windows and sliding doors so we could watch the TV without any glare. These do the trick. They probably has some insulating capabilities. I can tell they hold back some of the chill from the windows. It's nothing fancy, but the material looks like it will hold up. Nice wide grommets too. Good curtains at a good price. These do come as two panels. I got a scare when the packaging said only one panel was inside. I opened it up and discovered two panels like the online description said.

These are heavy duty curtains. They are soft, and make my room as dark as it could possibly be. I ordered two pair, and all were true to length, although I was nervous about this after reading others reviews. I threw them in the dryer with a wet towel, and they came out pretty much wrinkle free, but I did iron them. The only negative thing about these curtains are the grommet color. I ordered grey curtains, and the grommet color is a bronzy-brown. Silver would have looked much better. I think about it every morning when I open my curtains and am blinded by the Arizona sun!

These drapes are doing the trick in our home this winter. We wanted a basic insulated drape to keep the heat in and the cold outside from coming through the window glass. The drapes provide a good barrier. But I wouldn't put these in a finely decorated living room. They are good for the den and upstairs bedrooms, but the very plain fabric is much more a background, melt-into-the-wall type of fabric instead of a decorating statement.

The only thing I was disappointed about is the fact that the curtain sides are shorter than the middle. I assume it's from the stitching to finish the sides. Since these are not custom, this is a common occurance. I am keeping them since in the guest room the sides don't show, they're machine washable and it is VERY difficult to find navy drapes.

My husband really loves the blackout curtain, much better than the one we previoulsy had. He's very sensitive to light & sound so he can't sleep well at night. But with this new set, he claimed that he slept better at night!

These curtains are wonderful. I am using them for a sliding glass door and they really help block out the draft and air flow. They hang really nice and do a nice job in making the room feel cozy.

Curtains are perfect for blocking out sun & cold. We have a south facing patio that is very cold in winter & it keeps the cold air out. Easy to get wrinkles out when they came. Just follow directions & they hang very nicely. Look just like the picture, the brown color.

The curtains covered two windows that required two 84" panels. When they arrived, I noticed that the website also offered two 84" panels instead of four panels covering the same windows. In order to use these, I had to sew the center panels of each side down about 12" at the top, for them to hang straight and not tend to gap at the center.. This was my error in ordering them, not the fault of the description. Since the curtains require at LEAST twice the width of the window to cover it well, i will know what size to order when I order the curtains for my living room.

Ordered these for the bedrooms of a beach house that gets the total afternoon sun and these curtains were the perfect solution to help with keeping out light and helping cool down the room. They black out curtain is so much better than shades or blinds.

I bought these curtains to cover our entryway and prevent people from being able to see in our home. They fulfill this purpose in a very attractive way. These curtains are also pretty thick, and they block out most of the light. They feel good to the touch. Wrinkles do not come out easily when steamed.
