The unit is hard to put together due to no written instructions, only an exploded photo listing part numbers. Two of the screw heads were filled in with excess metal and thus did not have a place to put the screw driver. The black rubber handles are too large for the handles and required some tape to keep them in place. To change the angle or direction of the blade requires you to take off gloves and I recommend you do this task in doors so if you drop the cotter pin you can find it. The blade on the pusher is heavy duty and the system works well on between .5 and 4" of snow. It used to take me about and an hour to clear my drive way now it only takes about 30 minutes. The extra long handle makes it easy on the back. It takes less effort to use then an old push lawn mower. The Overstock product was $45.00 LESS than other mail order units I looked at. The few short falls of the product are minor and the unit works great for what it is. I bought one for my parents who live in Utah.
If it was to have a better quality this will be an excellent product.Hard to believe that the instructions are actually wrote by somebody in US.However once you have the product together it will really help you as long as you do not try to move more snow than 12in at a time.It really helped us a lot (it cut my work time in less than half) and if we get to use it for two years before it breaks I am satisfied.
This product is not for serious snow. It bent in several places the first time I used it in 2.5"snow. Save your money.
Got this for my husband. It was a lousy gift. Crooked parts, flimsy assembly and worthless directions. Once we put it together it was either skimming over the snow or digging into the ground and stopping dead. Shoveling is easier. The idea seems good but the item was a disappointment.
Works well in snow up to 3 inches, or up to 4 inches in powdery snow. Push Blade will push very light wet snow. The Grip Push-blade Snow Remover cut the snow removal time in half & left very little to shovel. It is a back saver. I have used it almost every day the last three weeks. We have had continuous snow. It is a must have!
Finally got some measurable snow and gave this snow mover a great test. It passed with flying colors and my back loves this mover. Cut my time for removal in half. Couln't be happier. My wife now loves to use it too!!!! Thanks
The terrible instructions make assembly next to impossible. If you are lucky enough to figure it out, the poor quality of the bolts and parts probably wouldn't make it through the first use. I would NOT recommend this product.
The assembly instructions are none. Kind of figure it out how to put it together. First snow storm in NYC, broke in pieces after 6 inches of snow and 10 minutes of shoveling.
This is a handy tool for quickly clearing a couple of inches of snow from walks or driveway, The design of the braces is poor. Lost the cotter pin first time I used it. The angle blade is a good feature.
I had trouble assembling the product. It has one of the worst instruction sheets I have ever used. Once I figured it out (with several missteps along the way) the shovel worked well and is a welcome addition to a traditional hand snow shovel.
It was difficult to put together because the instructions were not clear. The bolts were to short and would pop off. We purchased longer bolts and have not had problems since.
Greatest invention for a physically challenged back. Well constructed and easy to maneuver. The grandkids think it is so cool we can even get them to do the work for us! We have used it to move piles of dirt and leaves-better than shoveling by a long shot. Hats off to the guy that came up with this idea.
Very poor assembly directions. Seems sturdy enough for those slushy heavy snows.
I would recommend this product because it is very easy to use, but, my advise is to make sure you assemble it tightly it does tend to come apart easily.
