This is NOT some cheap tool set. It is a quality set in a fun color. I'm going to buy a set for my sister and my Mom.

Bad Condition
 Jan 16, 2008

I was very upset with my Grip It tool kit. The actual tool box was in bad condition with the bottom entirely scratched and latches broken. The tools themselves were in ok condition.

great gift
 from NC,  Jul 15, 2010

I got this kit as a gift for a newly-single friend and she loved it. Functional, cute, tools fit her hands and she has everything she needs in one place. She raves about it.

Purple Love it!
 from Hillsdale County,Michigan,  Mar 15, 2010

I use these all the time inside and outside! I keep them in our home so I know where they are in there in the carrying case they came in. Purple tools are hard to find too. Most times I find pink yuck. lola

Four Years Later, Thumbs Up!

I bought these for my MIL 4 years ago. She's still using them, they are very sturdy and the color still makes her laugh.(I only found out about leaving reviews today.)

Disappointed
 from OR,  Oct 17, 2009

I got the kit for two reasons - it has many high use tools and the reviews were good. When the kit arrived I was disappointed. The box is scratched up and the tools moderately USED. The handles are dirty and worn on several of the tools. The 10 in 1 is flimsy and dented from previous use. Another thing to mention is the latching clips on the case are weak and would likely break over time. It wont be the gift I was planning to give.

Pink Hammer
from Northern New Jersey,  Jul 6, 2009

Just needed a general tool kit for the 8th floor office. At least the pink/purple color will keep the men from touching the tools, they have their own tools. I do laugh at the fact that two toggle bolts are part of the 30-piece kit. It works!

Sh!I keep mine hidden!
from Boston, MA,  Jul 3, 2009

Sh! I keep mine hidden! That way, no parts will disappear. Why is this of concern to me? That is anwered in the very end...AND, it gave me the opportuntiy to buy THIS wonderful kit, which I treasure so, that for safe-keeping I keep in HIDDEN,!...When I saw this particular kit on your site, a couple of years ago, I was 'smitten.' I fell in love with the awesome colors, & especially with the concept that it would be truly Mine, as I do love these colors! SH!! Secret... I keep it HIDDEN (yet a few trusted souls, sometimes ask if they can get it from 'there?) "Would you believe that some Workmen (who have stopped by without their tools) )often ASK TO BORROW IT? I then inspect that ALL parts have been returned...It is good to do; as some workers CAN have sloppy habits & leave a tool where they used it, (and I'd never have guessed where someone left a piece under some sink). A neat feature is that this little measureing tape is magnetic; you can stick it to the side of a fridge, & need not hunt for the "hidden Tool kit" which is too nice to leave out, lest parts disappear. Ladies, (or men)...Buy it! You'll not regret it; PLUS it is unlikely someone with 'sticky fingers' will DARE 'to permanently borrow' a purple or magenta tool.{I had a prior mauve kit, & thought was safe from being taken from, as 'too feminine;' so if you see some workman with a Muave colored Hammer, please report him to me.}However, this kit is superior in every way, so he may have done me an inadvertent favor.I ALSO suspect some of the Workmen secretly enjoy using this Kit, as they came without tools, 'too often." Thanks again, Overstock!

Grip 30 piece Women's Tool Kit
 from Ohio,  Jan 8, 2009

I bought the kit for my wife. I think that there could be more tools in it and no nails, screws, etc. The work of locating the kit and then making the purchase was a bit more tedious than other sites I've used online. Time will tell how good the kit is.

Ok product
 from AR,  May 26, 2008

The lid was very flimsy and was solid white. The picture had a much nicer looking lid. The tools seemed well made and fit my hands well.

took kit
 from Texas,  Mar 5, 2008

I don't have to worry about my husband taking off with this set of tools! The lid is really flimsy and doesn't seem like it will last but the tools so far seem pretty well made for the price. It is a pretty good deal.

Good Value - Great Gift

I actually purchased two of these kits for my young sons - both are enjoying using them. The smaller sized handles and grips allow them to use without assistance. Great product!
