Just needed one "thin" wrench, 11/16. Tried to find just that one wrench in the local area, no luck. Went on-line, and found this set instead of just one wrench. Thought, "for the price, what the heck". I figure that if I need a tool once, I just might it again someday. Then I have it right there, on hand, ready to go. Got both SAE and metric for a great price. They are not the highest qualiyty, but when you do not use a set like this very often, the value is very good. Customer service was good, got both sets in just a few days. I give the two sets 4 1/2 stars.
I wanted thin wrenches for close quarters and these wrenches fit the bill.
These are ultra thin wrenches in both metric and standard. The quality is good considering the price and the type of tool. These can be very useful replacements for the wrenches included with power saws (which is why I bought it). A replacement wrench for my power tile saw would cost $25 after shipping the entire set of metric and standard cost $33. Bargain in my book.
These impossible-to-find wrenches are well worth the money. I purchased both, the metric & standard. I needed one for a transmission vacuum modulator and was skeptical about the quality, until I received them. They are stronger than you may expect and slide into thin spaces where other wrenches won't. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I gave them a 4 for durability and workmanship only because they could have been made of something stronger, like titanium, and I haven't used them with my foot to break loose any frozen parts. I can't imagine them ever breaking, but stuff happens. Buy them.
These are nice economical wrenches that work perfectly for jobs they were designed to do. Also, because they are so thin, they fit into areas that regular wrenches just won't work. I've used then for working on my son's Chevelle, for plumbing and even a little electrical work. So far they have held up well and have gotten the job done in each case. They are VG wrenches, especially for the price.
I WORK ON CARS FOR A LIVING AND I NEEDED A THIN WRENCH SET OF MY OWN. SNAP-ON WANTED ALMOST 400 DOLLARS FOR HALF OF THESE WRENCHES. YES SNAP ON LOOKED PRETTY AND OTHER STUFF BUT I DO NOT USE THEM EVERY DAY SO I COULD NOT SEE SPENDING THAT MUCH MONEY FOR A THIN WRENCH SET. I USE THEM ON AVERAGE 2 TIMES A MONTH AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WTIH THEM.
