I got this pad to go under a rug that I purchased at the same time. It keeps the rug from sliding about on a cement surface. The rug is large, so it may have stayed in place without the pad, but because there is no furniture on the rug, I decided to play it safe. It works fine. I've had it in place for over a year and the rug has stayed put even though people walk on it frequently.

This is a great product for keeping the rug in place, however it adds no additional cushion to the rug. I wished Iw ould have known or realized this when I purchased the pad or I would have picked something else. Because we want additional cusion for our rug we have to purchase something else.

It does what it's supposed to do and that's keep the rug from slipping on the wood floor but would I've cometo expect unprecedented deals at O and thought htis would have been a thicker quality to complement the rug.

Because this came free with the rug I ordered I can't really complain. But all it does is keep the rug from slipping around and is very thin.

Reasonable price. Item is necessary for area rugs.

we bought this to put under our new area rug and it worked out great. It does the job and was pretty inexpensive. This was a great buy.

I didn't buy the rug pad for it's obvious purpose. I needed a lightweight non-slip rug pad to use on my new leather couches to prevent slipcovers from always slipping off. I cut the slipcovers down & put wide, couch-long strips along the top of the couches & along the seats - pushed down into the crevice; threw the covers over & it's holding tight! Even the dogs don't cause the covers to slide off! This product seems to do the trick. Thanks, Overstock, for a great price.

This is just a piece of poly nylon, very thin. If your only purpose is to prevent skidding, it will do the job. But it provides no padding at all and I don't like the way it sticks to the bottom of the rug, leaving residue when pulled off. I would opt for something a little more expensive although I'm keeping it, too much bother to return and buy something else.

This is a relatively inexpensive rug pad that does a good job. I needed a thin pad for a new 8'x10' rug and I am very pleased. Also, it really is non-slip!

Really - best price for 8 x 10 Rug Pad and does the job! The rugs before were sliding like crazy on brand new wood floors. Now the rugs are firmly staying where they supposed to without slight moving! Exactly what a Rug Pad supposed to do!

its a fine rug, it does the job just fine. it is not as nice a quality as some rug pads we have had before, but it is just fine for the money

This pad seems to be working fine. It was bigger than what I needed, but easy to cut to size. Hard to sing praises about something no one will ever see, but it was certainly more affordable than similar products at *******s.
