  • Too noisy

    I purchase from O.com all the time. This is the first purchase where I am not satisfied with the quality of my purchase. The unit is very heavy, so we had to have someone take the unit upstairs. The location of pipes on back of unit/height of my windows - took some work to properly get the tubing situated (according to the instructions). It does cools a small bedroom, however the heat from the tubing keeps the room at a temperature around 80-85, however will get to 75-79 on a cloudy day. I'm not sure if my unit has some issues or not, however it rattles, sounds like something is inside of it... it is also very loud, you definitely can't sleep with the unit on. Especially, when the compressor shuts down to cool, and starts up again, that kicking noise sometimes scares you. Perhaps I'm a light sleeper, however my daughters couldn't take it, so we moved the unit to my room, I turn on while watching TV (turned all way up), for a coupl hours to cool my room, then I have to turn it off before I go to sleep.
