  • Great nostalgia for excellent results

I bought this to grind peanuts and make my homemade peanutbutter like my mother did with the same tool in the 1950's. Sure I can make peanut butter with my food processor, but grinding it it old fashioned way does taste better. I also grind cacao beans into cacao paste with excellent results. I cracked corn and wheat for the 8 chickens and perfect again. This machine will not grind your wheat or corn into a fine talcum flour, it is not intended to that like some reviewers intended to use it for. But it makes coarse and fine peanut butter and coarse and finely ground wheat and anything else. Very happy with it and intend to buy another one for my sister in The Netherlands.

Peeler is fine, but some of the extra "stuff" is just that, dunk. Tried to use, but ended up throwing in the garbage. I have used similar items in the past with great sucess, these were going in the motorhome, not now as it was junk.

  • GERMAN LOVES POTATOES

Put rubber legs on the cutter. Bought speaker rubber pads for $X.XX from XXXXXX This thing cuts potatoes quickly and efficiently...I cut sweet potatoes in 3 inch sections before placing them in the cutter. They are harder to cut. Cutting: A hard, quick pull usually reduces the potatoes into fries every time. I have used this unit for over a year, blades are sharp, haven't even used the second blade yet... BUY BUY BUY, you won't be disappointed,,,,

It's rather hard to put together and take apart and it cuts vegetables rather unevenly. Still, the small size is handy. It's good for dips.

This mandolin is made cheaply and dos not provide smooth, effortless help with slicing as I hoped for.
