The bulbs in this lamp are not standard bulbs that you would find at the hardware store. You have to order them from the lamp manufacturer, via mail. Kind of a hassle and I would not have ordered the lamp had I known that.

The only thing that's a little weird is that there is a central on-off switch for all three lamps and I haven't yet figured out how many configurations of lights are possible (out of a total of 1 light + 1 + 1 +2 + 2 +2 + 3 = 10 possibilities) but there always seems to be the right amount of light for what i need. It is a good lamp for the money.

The lamp is well built and like the three way lighting. HOWEVER - be aware of the special bulbs needed for the lamp. They are running around $6 each (this is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) and not easily found. Other than the bulbs, I'm pleased with the lamp and would recommend it.

This is a lovely unobtrusive lamp! I have it in my bedroom with each light lighting a different area. It fits my needs perfectly. Thank you AGAIN Overstock!

Love this lamp. thought it might be cheap looking but it is very solid. Has a three way switch so that you can control the amount of light. Came with special bulbs....save the paper that comes with it so you can reorder them.

impressed with the sturdy construction and ease of assembly!!!!

took about the basic amount of time for it to get here, one of the bulbs were flickering so i had to use 2 bulbs for weeks the contacted support and got a replacement in 2 days.

This lamp was easy to put together. I like that the bulbs came with it so I could set it up and use it right away. It is metal. Not plastic. It's heavy and the heads move around nicely. The switch allows you to have different settings. You don't have to have on all three lights at the same time. It is modern looking but it looks great in a traditional setting too. Very pleased with my purchase. Mine didn't come all black like it shows. The base of each head is shiny chrome as well as the lip of each head. Still, it looks good.

Only had a month but so far so great. Easy to assemble. It doesn't take regular bulbs. It uses only the energy saving bulbs. Supposed to last longer. Use it only at night and the bulbs have been fine so far.

Just as advertised, it is functional, easy to assemble and beautiful, I definitely recommend.

I put it in a room that gets little use but needs good light, This one works well for me.

This lamp is so much more solid than so many pole lamps. The fact that it came with CFLs was an added bonus. I have a small sun room that needed light in the early morning and after sundown and this lamp was perfect for that room. I'm very pleased with this purchase...including the great service.

The Grandrich Energy Star 3-light Tree Lamp is perfect for a corner or near a a reading/work spot. Three way means either the top two lamps, the bottom lamp, or all three lamps are on at one time. Light assembly was necessary, but painless. Takes the "prong type" rather than screw bulbs.

I bought this lamp for my son's first apt. He likes that it came with energy effeicent light bulbs, and with one switch you can light 3 at a time then 2 at a time and then 1. Great value.

I bought this because it seemed practical, but in reality, it was poor quality and looked like it belonged in a dorm. So I did just that, I sent it away with a family friend who is in his junior year of college- I'm sure he thinks it's just great! (Big ups on the fact that it's energy star, though)
