Great bed! Comparable to Tempurpedic.
My husband wanted a tempurpedic bed for a long time. We went to different showrooms and tried out their beds. They were comfy but their price wasn't, ouch! We started researching online and figured that other companies were already making memory foam beds comparable to Tempurpedic. After seeing the reviews on this one we ordered and we don't regret it. My husband is finally sleeping thru the night. I personally had to get used to it for about a week but I sleep like a baby now.

What a GREAT mattress
We searched a long time for a new bed, from air beds to conventional, then debated the kinds of memory foam and their differences. All the while sleeping on a 1978 hotel mattress and springs and the floor. Of course we then had to decide which foam would suit us!!!!! Long story-short, this is the one for us. I have had three back surgeries and my husband has sciatic nerve problems, we have yet to sleep on the floor again!!!!! I was afraid of doing the "girl-thing" and choosing for looks alone because this is a very up-scale presentation, but the quality surly seems to be there. It is a solid piece and truly stays put. We have ours on a wooden platform and love it. Thanks for offering this mattress, those who choose it will be happy with their decision. BTW, I didnt need any adjustment time---goes to show how bad the other was---OR how GREAT THIS MATTRESS IS.

fantastic bed!
I had previously ordered a four inch mattress topper and was so pleased with it that I decided to order a new memory foam bed. I looked at several at O.Co.com before choosing this one. I am so pleased with this bed! When I was talking about buying a new bed my wife was against it. She thought we didn't need it. Now every morning she wakes up and says,"I love my bed." I had been looking at traditional beds before and am pleased to say that for the price of a really cheap bed I now have the bed, and sleep I always dreamed of.

High Comfort
Love, love, love this product. It comes in a giant roll. Sadly, in the middle of our top (which was in the center of the roll, there was a raveling hole that was smeared with black. It was clearly obvious so it must have been done before the mattress was rolled and decompressed. The mattress is well-protected for shipping. It arrives in a plastic-lined black bag and also has a nice plastic liner over the top of the mattress before it was rolled to protect it further. Due to the size and how much it increases in size after the air returns, we chose not to return it. Even with the small tear in the top cover, we absolutely love it and would buy it again. Within an hour of setting it up, it was full-size. There was no strong chemical smell and we were able to sleep on it the first night with no problems. We plan on buying another one in another size for my son. Everything they say about the comfort is true. I haven't slept so well in years.

very nice
let me start by saying, we love this bed. we've had it for six weeks and have finally got it settled in. however, here are some things you should know: 1. there are no instructions. the brief instructions in the description online is all you get. 2. because of my asthma, i have problems with latex smells, we had to let the bed air out in our bedroom with an open window for about four days. this was in addition to the two days we gave it to "expand". even then the smell, even though signaficantly less, just went away about a week ago. 3. if you have a platform bed that the mattress will settle down into, this will make the bed more firm. we had to switch to just using a headboard, thus giving the mattress more room. now it's the perfect mix of soft and firm. we did purchase the isocool mattress pad, which was a good decision. we do feel great when we get up in the morning. our aches and pains are greatly reduced and we sleep like babies. it's true, that it is no tempurpedic. but at a quarter of the price, it's worth it.

great bed
I've Had This Mattress FOr Almost A Year And I Like It A Lot. It Came In On Time And Was Easy To Unroll. It Took A Day And Half To Rise Completely. The SMell Was Very Strong For About 2 Rising then Started To Taper Off And Was Completely Gone Groom The Air In S Week but Took About 3 Weeks For It To Dissipate When You Are Face Down Trying To Sleep. When It Completed Rising I WAs Told By A Frien To Jumps Around On It For An Hour Everyday For A Week To Help It Soften Up. I Did. The Mattress Didnt. It Is Extremely Hard. Nothing Like The Description Of Medium. I Am Fine With It But My Husband Doesnt. The Firmness Does Make We A Little Stiff In The Morning But Mainly Because I Dont Toss And Turn At All Any More So Being In The saMe PositIon For Hours. Overall I Love It And Recommend It All The Time. Plus You Cant Beat The Price.

amazing quality for the price
I had wanted a cool gel memory foam bed, but saw this and after reading the reviews, I knew I had to try it. I've had severe back issues for many years...the first night I didn't move at all. I haven't had sleep that well in many years. Since I've only had it a few weeks, I cannot evaluate how well it will hold up, but I can tell you, this is a very nice bed...it states medium firm....it is firm. The smell was pretty strong for about 2 days, but that had gone away now. I love this bed.....considering a twin for my grandson's visits. INVEST THE SMALL AMOUNT ON THIS BED...IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. THANKS O.CO

grande hotel 14 inch review
After going to a national bedding chain and seeing prices that resembled ones from a quality used car lot we decide there had to be a better way to buy a mattress. We looked at a local discount store and the quality was good and the price better, but we still wanted to do better. Then we found Oversock.com After reading reviews online we decided to purchase the grande hotel 14 inch. We ordered Memorial day night at 11 pm, the mattress was at the house 7 am Thursday. It came triple wrapped. It is very heavy so get some help to move it. We got it opened on the box spring(used our old one and frame). It was square and to full thickness right out of the wrapper. The smell was no worse than being in a freshly painted room. After 2 nights of sleeping on it all ur aches and pains are gone. We previously had a top of the line stearns and foster spring and this one blows it away. Don't spend 7000 or more in some store. Get this mattress. Day 2 and the smell is gone.

Ready to Use out the box
The bed arrived on time as estimated. I was replacing a mattress so it was important for me to get the new one on time. I was a little curious because the bed was softer than expected out the box. The next day it firmed up a little more to what I was expecting. No order when I opened the box. Very pleased with the product and the price! I was trying to save money on a good quality mattress so I'm glad I was able to find something in my price range on overstock.
