I wanted this for my induction cooktop, it works but heat transference is diminished so I have to turn up the power on my cooktop. I like that I can use three of these at one time, it cleans fast and I don't over use my expensive all clad. Good for cooking a different egg for each member of my family.Read More

*** This pan does not work on my DuxTop 8300ST Induction Cooktop. *** Apparently the smaller pans in this series don't have enough iron in them to activate the auto-pan-detect feature and are incompatible. Too bad. Very disappointing. I'll be returning all of it. Rats.Read More

I had my doubts about the non-stick claims. But I was happy I was wrong. This is a great piece of cookware.Read More
I was looking for a small non-stick pan that would work on my new induction cooktop. When the description said it was induction ready, but another reviewer said it wasn't, I questioned the product. The response came back that it was, indeed, induction ready, so I ordered it. It arrived in good time and in good shape. It seemed solid and heavy enough to use on the induction cooktop, it did heat up, and cooked OK, but not as well as I would have expected; I had to use a higher setting than I do for other pans I like better. The other thing I wasn't so keen on was the design of the handle. The handle, though comfortable, comes straight out the side, horizontally. I'd prefer if it angled upwards. I have since found another small non-stick pan that cooks much better and I will use that one more often than this one. I'll still use this one - you can always use more than one pan of this size. Bottom line: it's OK, it's usable, but I wouldn't recommend it.Read More

Best Pots and Pans
Choosing the perfect cookware is a matter of personal preference and cooking style, but understanding the differences can help every cook. How to Break in a Stainless Steel Frying Pan
Stainless steel frying pans are frequently used by professional chefs and serious cooks at home. Unlike cast-iron fry pans, stainless steel fry pans do not need to be seasoned before use; and unlike nonstick fry pans, you will need to use oil to avoid food sticking to the surface of your stainless steel fry pan and even then, some food will still stick. While these facts might seem like disadvantages, they're actually the reasons why many cooks prefer to use stainless steel fry pans. High-quality stainless steel cookware may not be the best for cooking things like eggs, but for the most flavorful searing of fish, meat and vegetables, stainless steel fry pans are unrivaled. The following steps will teach you how break in your stainless steel fry pan before each use.

To learn which type of cookware will work best with your electric range, keep reading.
How to Season Stainless Steel Pans
While most cooks know that you need to season your food before it will taste good, new cooks might not know that you can also season your pots and pans. Seasoning is a process in which you prepare a pan or other cookware before you use it for the first time. When you season stainless steel pots and pans, you are filling the pores of the pan's surface with carbonized oil, which blocks the oxidation process and therefore keeps the cookware from rusting or pitting. In addition, seasoning helps to prevent food from sticking to the pan. The following steps will teach you how to season and protect your stainless steel pots and pans so they will last longer and work better.
Tips on Cooking with a Cast-iron Skillet
