Gorham Marabella Flatware
I am so pleased with this flatware. It is the perfect heaviness for everyone. It feels substantial. The contemporary design is clean and compliments both traditional and other contemporary place settings and serving pieces. You will not be disappointed if you choose this flatware.

Good quality but undistinguished.
I have ambivalence about this flatware. I got the inaccurate impression from the photograph that the pattern would be more prominent, giving a more craftsman lookl to the style. In fact, the pattern is subtle -- barely indented into the metal -- which makes the set look quite undistinguished. This flatware has washed well in the dishwasher, and is weighty, so it doesn't feel at all cheap or tinny. The "large" spoons are small -- in fact, they're the size of the teaspoons of my last flatware set. The teaspoons and the salad forks are very small. Knives and large forks are a good size. All that said, you are getting a good quality set for your money. They're just, well, kinda boring and undistinguished.

This is my second set of the flatware. I bought the first set a few months ago and could not be happier. This flatware is a good size and weight compared to some others I considered at much higher prices.
