We are currently using this product in our home and seems to work great. I will be curious to see how it holds up overtime. The price was good compared to anything we could buy in town. And of course, Overstock's shipping costs is wonderful!!!!!

Sorry I'm so late in sending my review but in this case it's better that I waited. We got this refurbished unit years ago and it's still going strong. I LOVE it but the only draw back is it took me about a month to figure out how to open the drawer (left that up to my husband). He finally showed me the combination, a little tricky but I can do it now! Highly recommend this unit.

We received one and had to send it right back! The first one did not run 2 weeks! The second had issues from the beginning too! It would run and then not run. When it worked it worked really well! The humidifier would pull alot of water out of the air. I would choose another dehumidifier over this one.

I have a lot of moisture in my house I bought the dehumidifier to take of the problem which it does but it is noisy. Not sure how to rid of the vibration noise,but it serves the purpose.

Dehumidifier works good. Haven't had any problems with it. I had to wait until cold weather to write the review because you don't want to use this thing in the summer. It Puts Out Too Much Heat, which is why I gave it 4 stars overall. We use it in our bathroom. It's a small room, only 8'x8', but we have no exhaust fan and it fills with steam at every shower or bath. The dehumidifier keeps the walls and mirror completely dry when set at 45%.

This product was shipped very quickly, and is a nice looking product. The features are nice, however some of the buttons for controls stopped working after just a few months. They are digital controls. If we shut down the unit and restart it, it works for awhile though, and while working, it does do an excellent job.

I bought this unit because my carpet got quite damp during the a recent storm. It sucks a lot of moisture out of the air thus doing a great job of drying the carpet. I looks pretty nice like any normal dehumidifier. It is quite noisy so I don't run it at night only while I am at work but it is getting the job done. I haven't had it long enough to tell if it is durable. All in all, I think it was a good value.

I place the Dehumidifier in my basement to keep the dampness out. I have to dump out water form the basement moisture, about every two days. That's a bit much for me! overall my basement does not have the wet,musty,moldy smell.

I've had this humidifier about 3 weeks and so far so good! Hopefully it will continue on. For some reason, that I don't really want to know because we are renting right now, our house was really damp and humid. This dehumidifier has worked really well. It is a little noisy, but no more than your average window unit. It is easy to move it from room to room because it is on wheels. Thank goodness, because it is very heavy!! I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered this dehumidifier to replace on that was 15 years old....What a pleasant surprise to find out how quiet this one is .....no comparison to how much nicer this one is. Extemely happy with my purchase....very pleased with the price!

Item was shipped promptly and was in perfect shape. The basement was smelling kinda funky as we hadn't had to use the air conditioner very much this summer. Using the dehumidifier a few hours a day in each of the rooms cleared it right up. I found it easy to empty and it really pulled the humidity out of the room. A real quality product for a great price. I would highly recommend this item.

I received this unit and it is working great in my basement. I live in an area hard hit by the recent flooding. I have dampness in my basement, and the unit is working very well to pull the damp out. I've had it less than a week now so I cannot speak to the unit's durability. It is noisy, but I cannot hear it upstairs - only in the basement. And I would say it isn't that noisy at all, really. Like a window air conditioning unit pretty much.However, everything I have ever received from Overstock in the past has been in great working condition and I have had zero issues. BUT two things about buying this unit refurbished from Overstock:-The bucket is dirty and was not cleaned completely when the unit was refurbished. This unit was obviously used, where all previous refurb stock I have purchased from Overstock appeared new or very close to new. There is a cover for the hose outlet on the back of the unit and that cover is missing. I have contacted Overstock and they will get back to me in several days. They say that unless a part is mentioned in the description, they are not responsible for it. So....if I don't receive the cover, my current satisfaction with Overstock will change, but I am still happy with the unit and would recommend it.

This arrived in ready to go condition. Looks new. I have used it for 2 days and am amazed by the change in the air quality throughout my home. It's a little loud....sounds like a running dishwasher. No problem...I turn it off at night. Another wonderful value from Overstock.

Dehumidifier DH 404E (refurbished) works fine and was delivered in about 5-6 days. The problem is its very loud. Would be wary about another appliance similar in nature.

We bought this to replace an old ratty dehumidifer that we had. This one is so much more sleek and nicely designed. It removes tons of water from the air. We use the hose option, so that it empties directly into our drain in the basement. I thought the price was great and quality even better!

I recently purchased my first home and had a bit of dampness in the finished basement causing a smell, I have never owned a dehumidifier before so i have nothing to compare this one to, but it seems to be working well. I leave it set on the 2 hour timer setting and its quiet enough not to be heard upstairs with the basement door open. It has made a noticeable improvement to the smell and dampness of the room.

I bought this due to a strong smell in the basement. Within a fews days the smell was greatly reduced and the machine runs well. Still a slight smell in the basement. Fairly quite.

I purchased 2 of these units, and couldn't be more pleased. The value is enhanced by performance, quitness of operation, and easyness of use. I live in a high humitity area of Alabama, and these units work really well. I would recommend this unit to anyone who appreciates value for the buck.

This dehumidifier was a bargain! It arrived quickly and works beautifully. It is not too loud and is serving its purpose. Easy to set up and figure out how to work it. So glad we decided to give it a try!
