Right out of the box I could see that these are not brass but metal and painted gold, then when I turned it over to look at the bottom there was a big sticker with 'Claire Burke' on it. These are a purchase with purchase item from another store ( purchase 4 candles and purchase the stand for $7.50). I realize this is a overstock and leftovers site but maybe there could have been a little more accurate information about the product.
