Just got the ones I orderd on the 9th of this month (7 days from order to delivery). Like one of the previous reviews, I don't think the photos do them justice. Excellant pieces to display in my living room. Very pleased with this buy!

These are very unique. The gold is more antiqed (which I like) and they are bigger than I thought. Simply gorgeous!

I really expected a much higher quality of product based on what the original list price was. The product is extremely light... kind of like styrofoam light. The overrall finish, design and craftsmanship is very rustic and cheap in appearance. My kids love them and I have given them to them for their bedrooms rather than displaying them in my main living spaces.

I did not look at the foo dogs closey enough online. It appeared to me that the glass was behind the gold wood work. I didn't not realize there were bits of colored mirror affixed to the gold work, although it is obvious if you look close enough. I can see how some people liked them in that the bits of glass make it look colorful and shiny. But to me they were garish with poor workmanship. The bits of glass were not positioned well within the gold of the foo dogs. I collect foo dogs but these were not worthy of my collection.

I was delighted with my foo dogs. I have them in a grouping of goodluck items on my coffeee table : bamboo, dragon and foo dogs The bits of colored glass are pretty set against the gold paint. Mine have red eyes that glow red at sunset when the light hits them!

I BOUGHT THESE AS A GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND,BECAUSE HE LOVES FOO DOGS .THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU FROM EVIL.I WAS VERY PLEASED WHEN THEY ARRIVED .THE GLASS ON THEM MAKES THEM SHIMMER,AND THEY ARE JUST SO FESTIVE ..WE BOTH WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR PURCHASE...

These were nothing like what I though....they appeared cheap, Bronze wooden sculpters with glass tiles glued on them ...was very disappointed.

It is not about workmanship. It is the meaning that come with it .I got 2 pair.I love them .I keep one for my self and another one I gave a good friend for their house warming gift .They love them.I know I can able to get the good and perfect one If I spend a lot of money for it .This is good enough for me Because It is own meaning and they can give good fortune if you believe.

Would have loved them if these dogs had the "stained glass" as advertised. . . but it's actually glued on mirrors! Not really worth the price, but okay for lower shelf of my TV.

I did read the negative ratings left by other buyers and I wanted to see for myself how good or ugly these little guys really looked. I tell you... when I opened the package I was stunned by how pretty these looked! I guess everybody have different taste and well I LOVE THEM and would definately recommend these to everybody. I have a cherry console and I put them there... I guess the cherry color goes really good with the gold on these little dragons. The price was also great!!! :) :) :)

I thoroughly agree with the previous reviewer...these are dreadful. Tacky tourist trinkets at best. They feel as if they were made of plastic, and the glass chips are carelessly glued on in no particular pattern. They must have come from a different source than those which received the glowing reviews.

After reading the product description and reviews I was completely shocked when I received the Foo Dog Dragons. I do not considered glued on glass "inlaid". If you like tacky and kitschy "object d'art" you'll love these.

I just got these and the picture does not do them justice.
