This sculpture has been meticulously handcrafted by artisans in the village of Ban Twai in the Golden Triangle Region of Northern Thailand. Crafted from wood and colored with black and gold paint, the piece boasts inlaid stained glass and removable tusks.

ELEPHANT STATUE
I COLLECT ELEPHANTS AND SAW THIS LITTLE STATUE. THE RETAIL LISTED SEEMS HIGH. THE PRICE I PAID SEEMS MORE LIKE THE CORRECT RETAIL. ONE OF THE GLUED ON ACCENTS WAS MISSING BUT EASY TO REPLACE. OVER ALL I WOULD SAY THIS IS AN AVERAGE PURCHASE. ALSO ONE OF THE TUSKS DID NOT FIT IN EASILY. STILL ALL IN ALL I WOULD PURCHASE IT AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS AS AVERAGE.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It's a wooden statue, covers in gold trimming, looks ok from afar. Up close it doesn't look nice.

what you see is what you get
this product appears exactly how described and shown in the photo, minus the tusks, which have to be put in. this proved to be a little difficult, and doesn't seem like they'll stay in strong, but should be good enough.black paint seemed to chip a little, but other than that, looks cute as decor :]
