  • Beautiful, but not a metal spigot

    Nov 20, 2014

grace04  from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Rating:4.0

This beverage dispenser is lovely. I plan on using it for two upcoming baby showers. I've tried the spigots, and they both work. The flow of one is slightly better than the other. The spigot is not metal. Originally, I bought this item because a reviewer said it did have a metal spigot. Dispensers with metal spigots are significantly more expensive, so I was excited to be getting one at a reasonable price. I was going to return these but decided I wouldn't use it enough to justify ****** ** or ****** ******* prices.

    My Take  from Arizona, Rating:1.0

Purchased 2 sets of 4, out of the 8 mugs, there are NONE that are identical. The mouth openings vary as much as 1/4 inch in diameter, the handles vary up to 1/8" in thickness and 1/4" in length, the height varies up to an 1/8 inch, they even have a different handle design on some of the mugs.....3 have dents from the manufacturing process, the bottoms on 3 are not flat and do not set level.....the only thing that seems to be correct is that the color is consistent. I hope they hold liquid, maybe I should see, huh, I think I just will send them back

  • What I was looking for

    Nov 26, 2014

    pbwef  from Lancaster, PA, Rating:5.0

I was looking for a set of travel mugs and was kind of picky about the appearance, so I was happy to come across these. It's been a few weeks and so far they've worked well. My only complaint would be that the lids don't secure very well (as opposed to some that screw on or otherwise lock on) - these snap in but it's a rubber barrier, so the lid can easily come unattached if you're holding it the wrong way.

I needed some basic wine glasses, and these fit the bill perfectly. They are simple, elegant, and sturdy. Great starter set.
