    These. Are. Beautiful. The crystal is elegantly cut, the colors are clean and clear and whimsical, and the goblets have a nice weight and balance. The Overstock description says they're dishwasher-safe, but I just got them today and haven't tested that. Umm, not sure I will test that, but I gotta say these glasses actually do seem fairly sturdy. I will not fret over the bumps and knocks that glassware inevitably takes. I've been budget-limited all my life and have never paid anywhere near this much for glassware that's not a gift, which is the only reason I rated the overall value as good instead of excellent. But like I said, I just got them; it's entirely possible that I might want to upgrade that rating later on. Word of caution to impulse buyers: Check the dimensions, because they are dead-on. These goblets are not especially tall, as goblets go, and the bowl is smallish. I did check, and they are exactly what I wanted, but I can see how someone who doesn't read the fine print migh...

    Sturdy enough to resist breakage, formed to avoid slipping from your hand, and not inclined to easily tip over. I was hoping that it shared the unusual characteristic of the Old Fashioned Glass to easily allow ice cubes to slide from the bottom of the glass - for those of us who like to finish off the ice cubes as well.

    Sturdy enough to not easily break, shaped to not easily slip from your hand, and not easily tipped over. Although it's not mentioned in the advertisement, ice cubes don't get stuck in the bottom of the class - an unusual characteristic for beverage glasses, but possibly worth mentioning.

    This product is such a great value for the money. The top is a bit wobbly but I prefer it over the rubber stopper. One thing I love is that it is lead free so we have no worries about keeping whiskey in the set full time. This will be a present for my future father in law on our wedding day. It looks like we spent much more than we did. Can't wait to see his reaction!
