The glass cookware is beautiful, however the tops are horrible.

glass containers are great. I gave them just a 4 because it would be better if they had silicone gaskets to give the lids a better seal. Kitchen tools said they are made of melamine which has formaldehyde in them and would not use them. That is O.K. i bought the set for the containers.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter in law. I thought it was a great value for what you recieved. I liked the idea of the set including different sizes, it is a great set for a family of just two or a larger family.

I have been giving Anchor Hocking as gifts for several years. Some young brides have not seen this type of glass bakeware and find it very useful and fun to see the food within the bowls.

Glass is great for even cooking. and you can watch it bubbling on the sides. Glass is better for you then metal pans or unknown coating. Cleans very well.

I needed some more glass ovenware, and this is a very nice set for the money. Very thick glass and the quality you would expect from Anchor Hocking. I would highly recommend it for anyone needing a better ovenware set.

I like these storage containers because they are pretty, easy to use as serving dishes and they are glass, which is better for reheating. They came fast and well packed. They are attractive too.

works fine from freezer to microwave, dishes are heavy (not a problem for me), also these types of dishes are hard to find with glass tops. perfect for me!

I loved the glass piece set. Works great in the oven. I have had a hard time finding a glass bread pan. I hate the non stick. This one works like a dream. I would tell anyone to get this set. Also it cleans up very easily if you let it soak for a little bit. Just wipes out.

Wish there was one more size between the largest and the next size smaller. Also, there were small pieces of glass in the bowls when unpacking- but the bowls weren't damaged. Kind of dangerous, though.

I don't cook a lot, so I didn't want to spend much on pots, pans etc. This set is a good deal and they are PERFECT for me. They are thick glass. Heavy and in 3 perfect sizes. They arrived quickly. I LOVE overstock. Thanks

The product itself is nice and worth the money. However, the large mixing bowl was shattered in the box and there was no info on how to return it, so i just took the rest of the pieces out. It's all glass and everything was wrapped together without bubble wrap.

My son moved away to another state and had nothing in his kitchen. I sent him an Overstock Care Package allowing him to prepare meals at home. He has sent me photos of all of his culinary delights. He loves this glass ovenware set.

This glass cookware set is really great! My only complaint is that the eight small dishes with lids are smaller than I anticipated, so they will not be sufficient for bringing lunches to work. They are very useful for dips and sauces, and all the other products have been great so far. Definitely worth the price!

I thought these would be more useful than they are - the sizes and shapes are a bit weird. Perhaps I'm just not that used to baking with glass after so many years of non-stick cookware. One piece arrived broken, but Overstock replaced it quickly for free (thanks!).

My husband loves to bake and this package makes it easy to do. It also makes clean up easy. Some people don't like to bake in glass because of the time but just lower the temperature by a few degrees and lengthen the time a few minutes. Don't forget the cooking spray and in the early days there was waxed paper.
Bakeware has come a long way over the past few years. Metal and glass have given up their spots as the state-of-the-art of baking in lieu of more temperature-stable silicone bakeware. Silicone bakeware is nonstick, flexible, and cooks very evenly, and it does it all using less oil, butter and shortening.

Traditionally, a young and newly married couple would receive a hope chest, often made of cedar, filled with the items they needed to establish their home together, such as linens, crockery and oil lamps. In fact, the Amish originally called this customary gift a wedding chest. Today, these trunks and chests are often given to young women when they leave home. Mothers fill this storage chest with both practical and sentimental items, including heirlooms and necessities for college or marriage. Beginning the cedar chest tradition in your own home just takes a little bit of time. The following tips will help you fill a hope chest for your own children.
