this product was difficult to use due to the fact that it took a while to learn how to use properly. it was good for making teas but coffee was hard because the grounds spilled over into the pot itself and mixed with the coffee

I bought this for our camping kit. It's a second one as the first fell out of the truck and broke last weekend. Guess I'll save the box on this one and use it to pack from now on. As far as the brew, it takes a generous heap of coffee to get good tasty strength. It isn't exactly what my Cuisinart makes at home, but FAR better coffee than from the aluminum camping pots that we've used in the past.

I had been looking for an old fashioned stove top percolator and by chance (my 1st purchase ever from Overstock.com); I found it..bought it and we love,love it! It brings back memories of long ago, sitting w/family in the kitchen watching them have perked coffee and desserts.(Of course, we were allowed the desserts)... I liked it so much, I reordered one more and am thinking of buying another. How can you not? With the discount and very inexpensive shipping. My mother used a nearly identical percolator, so this looked familiar when it arrived! It took us a while to figure out the amount of coffee to use, but we are now very happy with this product, and the coffee it produces.

When my Mom Broke our last Glass Coffee Pot, I could not find one I liked, Only Electric ones where available, Then I Looked in Overstock and found the exact same one I had.

The secret to using the percolator is to use coarse ground coffee. A fine grind will not allow the percolating coffee to drain fast enough from the basket. You also need to turn down the heat to medium when it starts to perk. I love watching the percolating coffee! This is an excellent product!

I didn't buy this from Overstock, but I have owned two of these in the past 5 years. I use mine in my camping trailer. The first one met with an accident, but since I liked it so much, I bought another one. And I also kept the box to help keep it safe from breakage. Makes a great pot of coffee!

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product. It takes forever to perk for some reason maybe it has something to do with the plastic stem and basket inside. Not what I was hoping for, especially for the price.

Have been looking for glass stove top coffee pot for awhile. And this is perfect. I can make one cup or 8 cups. Use it almost every day. thanks Overstock.

Arrived in only a couple of days and my parents are very happy (replacing a very old one of the same type they've had for years)

This makes excellent coffee, and it is fun to watch. Got some really cool photos of the coffee just starting to drip into the water, and topped it all off with deilicious coffee. Easy to use, easy to clean.

This percolator makes really great coffee. Although some parts are plastic, the glass carafe is sturdy. It's fun to watch the coffee percolate and helpful for desired brew strength.

for me this percolator doesn't make strong enough coffee. when i leave it on till i get the desired color, coffee tastes burned... i'm used to a cone with paper filter and looks like i'll be going back to the old method.. too bad.
