Not Satisfied
I was very disappointed with this product once I started using it in my kitchen. I was always under the impression that ginsu products were very sharp and never needed sharpening. I am finding that I can't even cut vegtables without feeling that I must saw through them. These knives are not sharp whatsoever. My son had mentioned about paying $200 for a good chefs knife and I showed him what I had bought. The set is very attractive but none the less is user friendly. I have now persuaded my son to not purchase this product and continue on with what his interest are.

Another Great Overstock product!
This was sent to my Daughter in Ca.who loves to cook, as an extra Birthday gift..She just loved them, easy to use,sharp blades made chopping so fast and they improved her over all cooking time..With a small kitchen area there was no need for more knifes-they did it all..All I can say is I'm happy I picked a brand,which I had heard about..Excellent is all she and I can say about Ginsu & Overstock..

This is a handsome set of medium quality knives. They are sharp, but not very ergonomically designed. Handles are weak. Would recommend for everyday use, nothing fancy.

Sharp, light, perfect!
I purchased these knives about a month ago, and I am in love!! They are super sharp, light but not cheap feeling, and have a handle large enough to fit my hand, which is nice for a change. Most of my grandmother's knives have handles that are to short for my hands and thus make cutting dangerous for me.

Cheap!
Do Not Buy. This Ginsu knife set felt very cheap and the knife block was wobbling (it was missing a rubber piece in the buttom). I am not exaggerating when I say that within five minutes of receiving and inspecting this knife set, that I immediately got on the phone with overstock to return this item and then write a review. I dont usually write product reviews but i felt like this is a must. I guess its true what this say "You Get What You Pay For." I really wanted to like this knife set and was wanting to replace my J.A. Henckels International but was a complete fail. Go with a different set or a different brand in my opinion. I would not recommend this to family or friends.

Very Good Knives
I bought this knife set for my wife for Christmas. She has used them everyday since then and is still happy with the purchase. I saw a comment about rusting when washing them in the dishwasher and so far they have no rust showing. Very Good Knives.

Beautiful to look at. Dull aready after several months. Good quality handles with a nice weight and great sizes to choose from. Just wish they stayed as sharp as indicated.
