Great knives but logo on block was messed up Great knives as I already own the set and got this for a gift, so the knives get 5 stars. But I was disappointed that the logo burned/inked into the block was a blurry mess, with ink all around it and isn't clear, was stuck on there half ass. My set i have didn't come to me like that and as this was a gift, that was a bummer.

Recevied different knives than those on photo The knives that we received (which were not in a sealed box, but rather bundled together as separate items) were not the same as those pictured on the website. The website photo shows knives with "Ginsu Chikara Series, Japanese Steel" emblazoned on them, next to a Japanese character. The knives we received simply say "Chikara". So the visual impact is much less impressive, and they may in fact be something other than what we ordered (stainless steel even?). They seem to cut fine, as any new knives would. And they may very well be worth the low price. But I am suspicious and disdainful of any company that baits you with a photo and sells you something else.
