Ginkgo Satine 45-piece Flatware Set (Service for 8)

My husband recommended these based on the brand name. Although these are heavy and long lasting, I was very disappointed to find that after using them in the dishwasher, there were rust spots/spotting on some of them. Bottom line, if you are going to sell something that says stainless steel - it should be stainless. I shouldn't be using Bar Keeper's Friend to re-wash my silverware or hand washing and drying them.

This is a good quality set of silverware. For those of you who like your silverware on the heavy side and like large silverware - these will suit fine. I do like heavier-weighted silverware and am pretty picky about the weight and balance of them in my hand but this flatware is enormous. A standard teaspoon is the size of a regular soup spoon. When I looked at the silverware at Bed Bath & Beyond, I noticed that all sets are trending toward the larger size. I have 2 small children though and this flatware looks huge in their little hands. I have to admit though that I didn't dislike them so much to send them back. : ) We are using them.
