I ordered this product as an alternative to vertical blinds for my sliding glass patio doors. I needed the blinds to mount on the outside of the frame and not on the inside. I neglected to find out before I ordered if this was possible. Nowhere in the description nor in the instructions or even the product dept at Overstock knew the answer. But we took a chance and it was very easy and we just rotated the mounting bars and voila! mounted it outside. The blinds are a good value for the money compared to everything else that is this size. It is important to know that they are NOT privacy blinds and let in a lot of light in the morning (which we like), but at night when we put them down we know that if someone was outside on our patio they could still mostly see in. For us this is not an issue - but I think you need to be aware of it before you buy. Installation was fast and quick and overall I am very pleased.

I could only get the shade in a 98" length with the 75" width that I needed. It is a bit bulky and heavy to raise and lower. The shade is good quality The kit comes with cleats and fabric pieces to cover the mechanics if you mount the shade outside the window frame. The color looks good with the drapes.

This blind is an exceptional value. I sell these for a living and I have to say I expected an average or worse quality and was pleasantly surprised when I received this item. Absolutely a top notch product! Great price too!

The shade is a great value for the size and looks. When down, a lovely light filters through. The shade came without the middle bracket but customer service quickly sent out a new one. On one end there is a "chip" out of a couple of the reeds but it is hardly noticeable.
