We updated our home to list it for sale. The shades look wonderful and no complaints from my husband on installation. I would recommend them but definitely order 1 inch smaller than your window opening. The 35" size scrapes the window opening sides. I think the 34's would've been better. Nice for the price overall.

These blinds are great, I am purchasing more for other rooms of the house. They really give a nice finished, decorator look to the room I put them in. I mounted mine outside of the window, and they are perfect. If you mount them on the outside, you can center them perfectly, if your brackets aren't perfect. I was worried about the chips and symbols in other customers' reviews and I didn't have any issues. You may want to let them air out in the garage or basement a couple days, because they do have a strong oder when you open them. And, they do offer privacy from the outside, even though they are not a solid material

This is the second shade that I've ordered. Very easy to hang-flilters in some light. Does not give total privacy though.

I originally ordered these shades a couple of years ago for my new living room, which has 8 windows. I wasn't sure what to expect. When they finally arrived, I felt the packaging was very cheesy, and thought that might reflect the quality of the blinds. Much to my surprise, these blinds have held up very well over the past couple of years. Been opened and closed numerous times, and still have had no problems. I love the way they look and filter the daylight. I also have heavy, thermal silk curtains on my windows, so the lack of evening privacy wasn't a huge concern of mine. I just purchased another shade for my kitchen window, to help filter out the morning sunlight. The color wasn't exactly as pictured, but still beautiful all the same!!

We got these shades because we wanted bamboo roman shades in this color family. They were a little lighter than how they appear on the website, but that was ok. The issue came with installing them. They say that they are 35" shades, but it's more like 35-1/8" with the metal brackets they have on there. My husband had to smash them into the window frame and we couldn't even use the brackets as they were intended because they didn't fit. Also, you can still see through the shades quite a bit. Overall, we like them and my husband spent enough time installing them that we're not taking them down. :)

We bought these blinds for my husband's home office and are very pleased with them. They are a deep, rich brown like ithe picture on the website. The quality is very good. When we hang them it should be very easy as all of the hardware is there and the instructions are very clear.

These are beautiful blinds. The color is nice, and they were extremely easy to hang. These do not offer privacy. I have them in my family area that looks out into our back yard. They let in the light and allow me to see the greenery outside, but are amazing good at blocking out the heat. If my windows were more viewable to neighbors, they would be able to see into my house somewhat, so I would not suggest them for a bedroom or other area that needs privacy.

I'm one of those people that reads all the instructions before starting, but this one was had a really confusing diagram and written directions. I started following them and disassembling the cords when I realized it was for using the blinds with hooks for "cord-less" operation. It arrives assembled, and all you need to do is attach it to the wall. It blocks most of the sunlight, but not all which is exactly what I wanted. It's not very good for insulating and I can imagine in winter it'll be cold. It's a bit flimsy and feels like it's going to break any moment, but I've had this for 4 months and it's still in great condition. For the price, it's a great well-designed value.

I bought these after getting similar ones of a difference size for my living room windows. These look very nice in my room. Subtle but gives the window a more "finished" look. They can be a pain to put up, but I think that's more my window than these shades.

I just got my shades in the mail today. They were really cheap as the bamboo was cracked in a few places. When I was hanging it I thought I would crack more of the bamboo. They look nice when up but just be careful. I wouldn't recommend for a childs room as they are fragile. They were however easy to hang but are lighter in color than the picture shows.

These shades are too large by 5/16." My window is 35" wide but the shades were 35 5/16." Disappointing. Now must wait for $8 return label to return too large shades. Not happy with this process.The shades looked OK but could not evaluate very much since they were too large to fit window. I never unrolled the shade as the directions indicated not to until on window. So can not give complete evaluation on the shades. So that is why I am giving an average rating.

This is a very nice blind- good color. It was a bit hard to fit to our window but we just did our own adjustments. Directions not the best but if you've put up blinds before you'll figure it out. Very nice quality though

I purchased these bamboo roman shades for a guest room to provide my guests with more privacy. They are completely see through and do not block the sun. It was too late to return these and my guests are still here. I was very disappointed with the quality of these shades as well. When I unrolled the first shade, there was a dollar symbol written on it (half way down the front) in permanent marker that I spent a half hour trying to sand off with little success (I was under the gun with time and couldn't return them, I had to make do). The second set of roman bamboo shades were chipped on the sides; another disappointment. I will never even think of purchasing any type of bamboo roman shades again.

Easy to put up.. looks great in my sons room lets in just enough light.. not a room darkening blind, but I think is nice coverage, we use it alone with a valance curtain as a topper.
