Works with Pegasus glass sink
We purchased a Pegasus glass sink from Home Depot that has no overflow, so the drain that came with the faucet set we bought wouldn't work because that drain DID have an overflow. I was looking for something that would cover the 2 1/2 inch hole at the bottom of the sink (not the opening for the drain itself was that wide but there is an additional cut out around it that is very wide). The head of this Geyser drain is 2 1/2 inches, and while it sits above the opening in bottom of the sink, the fact that it is so prominent makes it so that you don't notice the wider hole at the bottom of the sink. I also wanted to note that the drain head DOES screw out so that you can clean out hair and other things that may get caught in the drain without having to take the entire drain apart. That's also a good feature should the drain "stick" in the closed position. It took my plumber about 15 minutes at most to put it in. It is quite substantial, not like the flimsy thing my plumber had to get on the fly from the local hardware store when he discovered the faucet I'd bought had an overflow drain. The fact that the head is so wide makes it a very prominent feature of the sink. I rather like that. It is easy to open and close simply by pushing on the drain head itself. I am quite pleased. The finish is very pretty and it works with my satin nickel faucet.

Perfect drain
This was a replacement for my existing lever drain assembly. Delivery was very prompt and installation was easy. The quality of the product is very good. Heavey and durable.

good match
these match perfectly the Price Pfister faucets I purchased several months ago. Have not installed them yet but they seem heavy enough and of good quality.

Great replacement
A lot of the stock vessel sink drains have fixed strainers which make for poor draining as well as having frequent clogging. With this drain it's been great, not clogged once yet in the month or so that I've had it. Added to the ability to also act as a plug so that I can fill the bowl. I don't use it too often but it works very well. It's not clear in the product info, but basically you push down the plug and it clicks into place to act as a stopper, and then you push it again and it springs up allowing the water to drain. The other reason I purchased this was to allow for the added length of the thread. My vessel was sitting on a 15/16" granite counter top. the stock drain did not give sufficient thread to allow for a vessel metal ring that sits under the vessel. Therefore I previously had mounted the vessel directly to the counter top. With this drain, I was able to put the ring in which made cleaning under the vessel a lot easier.

Looks good! Great Price....
We haven't installed this yet, so all I can say about it is that the price was right, it looks and feels great, and fits the vessel sink perfectly. It also matches the other brushed nickel items in our bathroom.
