The Geruts Espresso Coffee Table is one nice, heavy piece of furniture. The stain is a dark espresso over a warm wood tone, which shows through a bit here and there. It's a nice touch, which adds dimension to the table. The glass inset is bevelled and fairly thick. The lines of the piece would work with transitional to traditional furnishings.

This product was better than my husband and I could have expected. We have shopped around and could not find a table that we could not find something that we wanted to go with our new furniture until we look online at overstock.com. I purchased two end tables and one coffee table. The first end table my husband put together rocked slightly but we found that if we rotated it that it got more stable so it could be the fault of our floors rather than the table or it could be that the table "settled" after being together for awhile. I had to order a replacement for the coffee table as there were a couple of problems with it but Overstock sent out the replacement quickly. They are an excellent company to do business with IMHO, so if/when you have a problem with an item you purchase, pick up the phone and call them rather than posting a negative review. I have found them to be extremely helpful and eager to have happy customers. I have been buying from them for over 5 years and always look there first whenever I need something.

First I thank all of the other reviewers. You helped me decide to buy this product. I had been searching for a reasonably priced coffee table for a long time. This is an attractive, well constructed table that looks like it came from a high-end furniture store. It does not look like a table that is assembled at home. We needed a dark wood table. I wanted round and I wanted another medium (other than wood), glass or stone or maybe wrought iron legs. So when I saw this sizeable, round table with a glass top AND a shelf I knew I had finally found the perfect fit. It is elegant but substantial and totally complements the rest of the living room. I only have one very minor criticism: I wish the groove in which the glass top sits was padded with velvet or felt. Otherwise, no complaints! Very happy with this purchase!

I love these tables!! My husband likes them too. My taste is very modern but I wanted traditional tables with glass inlay to give them a modern accent. I saw the coffee table and end tables about 2 months ago. After scouting many high end stores and not finding what I wanted, I was finally ready to take a chance on buying these sight unseen. They were exactly what I wanted. By the time I was ready to order, the end tables were out of stock. I was so upset and almost purchased another set that I really did not like. Something told me to wait. I checked back 3 weeks later and not only were the end tables in stock, but now there was a matching sofa table. There was a reason they were not all in stock initially. I very happily ordered the coffee table, 2 end tables and a sofa table. They were delivered a week earlier than projected, which was nice. These tables are more than worth the price. I have seen sets 4 times the cost that looked very inferior. The wood is solid and the legs are very sturdy. Even the scroll work looks good. Nothing cheap looking at all. They look even better in person. I love their classic look with my orange leather sofa and captain’s chair. They are a great compliment to my glass dining table. The wood color is a very dark brown as shown, with a warm brown peeking through at times. They were packaged very well and did not have any scratches. All of the holes were drilled correctly and assembly was easy…. once I found the secret. Leave all screws very loose until you have all of them in the holes. This will make it very easier to get the screws in the last hole. Then, tighten them all. This was so easy that I put it together myself. Thanks “OS” for making my living room look fantastic!

This round table looks great with my leather couches and mahogany tables. I wanted to try a round one instead of the oblong one that I had. It really looks so much better and gives me more space. There was a slight nick in one of the legs but a brown sharpie fixed it. To order something sight unseen was scary but this worked out better than I could have hoped.

When I received this table the top had a scratch but I was so pleased with the look and quality that I was worried I was not able to get an exchange customer service was excellent I received a response immediately when I called to let them know table was damaged in shipping received a new table top within 48 hours it is absolutely gorgeous first time ordering through overstock.com it will not be my last I priced around for coffee tables and this by far was excellent quality for the price I receive many compliments

These tables are a beautiful addition to my home. Its also true its takes longer to take them out of the boxes than to put them together.
