It's louder than I expected, they vents are designed in a way where it's hard for the air particles to be absorbed.. But over all you have to leave it on all day and night. Honestly I have not seen any improvements in air quality since I have purchased but it sure does look nice.

    • Hello Mountain woman, this air purifier uses replacement type C filters, model FLT5000 and should be replaced every 6-8 months. Additional, extra carbon filters are available, model FLT28CB4. Thanks for shopping with us!
