Genesis Steel and Tinted Glass Modern Coffee Table

This is a great table if modern is your decor scheme. I was a little worried after ordering the coffee table and reading that it was only 12 inches high. But its the perfect height for a modern room. It tends to collect dust easily, but that's the price of having glass anywhere in your home. The price had me going back and forth befiore I finally pulled out the credit card, but it is well worth the price! Packaged very safely as well. Great buy!

I love this table, very sleek, modern contemporary, just exactly what I was looking for... I always get compliments when people come to visit.

I wanted to buy this table because it was part of a larger set that has a matching mini bar. Haven't bought the bar yet because its expensive but the table itself is nice. I set it next to my chaise lounge and sip drinks then use a coaster on it. It is a low table but so is my chaise lounge. Kinda hard to drink in it but I make it work. My chaise lounge has bright shiny metal while this is slightly grayer. Doesn't match like I had hoped. It's not polished metal but chromed. Polishing implies that a polishing brush or belt has buffed the metal to a high polish. It has simply been electroplated or some other process to give it a gray chrome finish. I was hoping for a more silver look, not black, not gray but silver. Guess I got stuck in the middle. I reall need to see furniture in person before I buy online from now on because the colors are not right at all. I have had a few purchases off here where the furniture colors where all wrong and it seems to be getting worse. Oddly enough every single one of my non furniture purchases and been great. The grayish chrome looks like its applied durably and seems thick yet there are places where the film looks bubbled or wrinkled. Like the film is not applied flat on but bunches up at parts. Chrome shouldn't crease like that. Shoddy. The glass rests on silicone like plastic clear rubber nubs. Some of them have squished with the weight of smoked glass inset. So now the table top is crooked if I spilled a drink it wouldn't puddle it would drip onto my carpets staining them. I could use plumbers silicone to fix it and bring it to a higher level but not sure how easy it would be to clean. They should have either made the glass thicker or raised the ledge the glass rests on so it is flush the metal frame instead of sinking into it. Can they fix these things? It seems like they need better design engineers. I don't put any stock in overstocks furniture anymore and am too busy to play wet nurse to them.

Very cool looking! But it is VERY low- only 12" high... as the description does say. Very sleek and glamorous!
