This is beautiful. I bought it for my mom for a Christmas present and am thinking of getting one for myself. It exceeded my expectations in beauty and size.

I ordered this globe for my husband as an anniversary gift. He has always wanted the large more elaborate gemstone globes but we could never afford their $10,000 price tag. He LOVES this one. It is smaller than I thought, but it is still gorgeous. Came in perfect condition, not a single scratch or dent. Fits perfectly on an end table in his office at work.

it was received in good condition with good packaging. it is missing a screw in the bottom connecting the legs. but it stands fine and looks fine. the compass is a worthless piece of junk but it is only a decoration so I can live with it. It is what they claim it to be and the price is good.

I was very pleased with the appearance of this globe. It is more attractive in person; it is vivid in color and details. I've seen a similiar item advertised elsewhere and wanted to buy it but it was too pricey. I'm glad I found it for less and am very happy with it.

When I first fell for these gemstones globes, it was at a very upscale jewelry store in Iowa and they were hundreds of dollars. With young children, we were on a "beer budget with champagne taste" and couldn't buy them. Our children are now grown and with the help of Overstock, these beautiful globes are now gifts to our children's friends for important occasions. They are of the best quality and we are extremely proud to give them. They will be heirlooms....and are always appreciated.

This was packaged so it did not get damaged at all, which is great The globe itself was a beauty. I would have liked the pedestal it was on to be a little more on the gold side it was more on the copper and the picture shows more of a gold, other than that I would recommend this purchase to anyone who wants a very fine item for a gift.
